You and Tony sat down in the kitchen.
Tony: Your father escaped from prison a while ago.
Your eyes open wide, and you feel your heart beating out of your chest. You weren't sure if it was from the fact you might get caught here or about your dad being free.
Tony: We are not sure how he got out, and we are trying our best to find him and put him away.
Y/N: I need time to process this, please.
Tony: Of course, call me or Happy if you need anything.
You rush to your room. Thoughts filled your mind as you weren't sure what the next step was.
Y/N: What if he tries to find me and snatch me up again? I haven't done anything wrong for him to do that, but why do I feel scared that he'll find me?
You stand and look outside your window.
Y/N: Forget it; he'll text me when he needs me. I'll be fine. Let's get ready for this party. I'll even go pick up Peter.
You get dressed up for Flashes party.
About an Hours Later
You arrive on the ground floor, and you greet Happy.
Happy: You sure you want to go?
Y/N: Yes, I got you on speed dial. If anything goes wrong and Peter is going, I'll be fine.
As you both enter the car, you first stop. Peter's and his aunt Parker's apartment. Once you arrived, you entered the apartment until you reached the apartment number you politely knocked on their door.
Aunt May: Well, hello, I don't believe we met before.
Y/N: My name is Y/N, ma'am. I'm a friend of Peter's. It is nice to officially meet you.
Aunt May: A boy with manners, but please just call me May come in.
You walk in; it's pretty cozy inside, with the complete opposite feeling of your dad's place. You definitely feel welcomed here.
Aunt May: Peter!
Peter walks out of his room and sees you first with a confused look on his face.
Peter: Y/N, what brings you here?
Y/N: We have a party to go to. Did you forget?
You both walk into his room.
Y/N: Cozy place you got here.
Peter: Thanks, but Flash didn't invite me to his party.
Y/N: Well, you're going to be my plus one, but, um, do you mind if I tell you something?
He sits to listen to you, but you become a bit hesitant to tell him, but you feel a sense of trust.
Y/N: My dad is out of prison, and I feel so out of it for some reason, so that's why I came here, hoping you would come with me.
Peter wasn't sure what to say about your dad; he didn't want to upset you.
Peter: Okay, sure, I'll go to the party with you. Do you mind if I invite my friends too? The more, the merrier, right?
You nod. It'll be nice to have more friends. You walk out into the living room to let Peter get dressed. You see Happy and May hitting it off but pretending like they were having a normal conversation when you arrive.
Aunt May: Happy just told me about the party. I'm okay with it as long as you get home before eleven.
Y/N: of course.
Peter walks out into the living room.
Peter: Y/N, are you ready to go? Ned and MJ said they'd meet us there.
Y/N: Yeah.
You, Pete, and Happy head to Flashes party you were on, trying not to think about the million possible ways your dad could get to you.
Peter: Hey, Y/N, can I ask you something? You don't have to answer if you don't feel comfortable.
Y/N: You wanted to ask me about my father.
Peter: What would you do if you saw him?
Y/N: I don't know. Maybe panic. Just thinking about him being out scares me. My father is a terrible person.
You feel your hand start to tremble.
Peter: I shouldn't have asked. I'm sorry.
Y/N: No, I promise it's fine. I'm fine.
You finally arrive at Flash's house. It's pretty lovely and bigger than you expected, just like Flash, I guess.
Peter: Hopefully, this goes better than the last time I was here.
Y/N: let's go find the others.
You exit the car, and the front yard is already filled with people. Finally, you find Ned and MJ.
MJ: You two friends now?
Y/N: Only when he doesn't annoy me.
Peter: Ouch.
Her and Ned both laughed at what you said as you both finally entered the building. There were huge neon lights everywhere; it was like a glowing wonderland.
Peter: I'll grab us some drinks, brb.
Ned: So what the deal with you two?
Y/N: Peter was pretty much my babysitter for a while, but we became friends, I guess.
They not nod then you turn to MJ.
Y/N: So, are you and Peter dating?
MJ laughs You looked at her, confused.
MJ: Oh, you're serious, No, we agreed we'd be better off as friends.
Then you slowly turn towards Ned.
Ned: please don't ask me
Peter comes back with four drinks
Peter: Here you all go.
Y/N: Thanks.
You take a your drink and see Flash.
Y/N: Hey, Thompson.
You walk over to him.
Flash: Hey, you made it, and I see you invited the Nerd Squad.
Y/N: Of course they're my plus-plus ones; you don't mind, do you?
Flash: It's whatever; let's hang out in the backyard when you're free.
He leaves, and you walk back to the table with Pete, Ned and MJ telling them you going to sit outside a bit they all nod while you go outside.
Harry: Not a fan of parties?
Y/N: Not really.
Harry: Harry Ozborn, I just moved here about two weeks ago.
He extends his hand.
Y/N: Y/N Beck, I'm not a fan of touching random strangers.
Harry: Fair enough, you come here by yourself?
Y/N: No, I came with some friends.
Harry: I'm friends with Thompson family friends. I wouldn't be caught hanging out with him. He's a bit of a jerk, to be honest.
You chuckled at his comment as Peter and MJ came outside.
Peter: Ned started dancing with everyone, so we decided it'd be best to come out here.
Y/N: These are my friends, Peter and MJ.
Harry waves to them introducing himself.
Harry: Y/N we should destroy stuff at a junkyard.
Y/N: That sounds pretty fun
You stand up with a grin on your face; you are pretty excited when Flash pops up out of nowhere.
Flash: Take me with you.
MJ: You wanna leave your house unattended?
Flash: It's whatever. I just want to get out of here for a bit.
Peter goes and grabs Ned before you all walk to the Junkyard.
Harry: I started going to this place the first day I moved here. It was the best place to blow off steam.
It wasn't far from Flashes Place; the junkyard was a bit scary-looking and reminded you of home.
Y/N: How do we get in?
Harry: We break-in.
Peter & Ned: Break-in?
Harry: How else do you think we get in?
Peter: I don't think think is a good idea.
Flash: Don't be a buzzkill, Parker.
You look around and spot an opening in the gate. You walk to it and crawl through the hole.
Y/N: come on.
Everyone crawls inside, and you all walk around, not too far from the group. It's creepy, and barely any light, Harry then puts up three tin cans.
Harry: Step right up, hit the three targets, and win a prize.
Y/N: Watch and learn, everyone.
You step right up as Harry passes you three baseballs.g.
Harry: You look pretty strong; ok, you get three tries.
You wind up the first throw as you tossed it using full force it was enough to knock them all down.
Ned: Woah.
Harry: Looks like we got a winner.
Y/N: I had practice.
Peter: That was insane.
Y/N: I practiced when my dad was away.
Harry sets it up for everyone to have a turn, but Flash was pretty good at it as it was Harry's turn to knock the cans down. You all hear Machinary start up.
Harry: What was that?
You look around, and you spot three giant wrecking balls above you about to drop.
Y/N: everybody move!
You all start running as the wreckingballs begin to fall, dodging the junk falling along with them as you find a safe spot where you caught your breath.
Y/N: Damit, I lost everyone.
You walk around. It's pitch black, but you see a nearby light, and as you start to walk towards it, you even hear Flash's voice.
Dad: So you have friends now?
You turn to him, shaking in fear. There he was, your father in the flesh, just like you remember him; it's like he never left.
Y/N: This can't be real.
He walks towards you and touches the top of your head, you're too afraid to react.
Dad: I'm not here to hurt you unless you don't cooperate. Boy, I want you to meet me here in a week. We have a big job to do.
Y/N: Of course, father.
Dad: And just so you know, you're in for a big surprise with that Parker Boy.
He leaves, laughing and disappearing into the night. You then quickly reminded yourself that you're on a mission; it's no time to have fun.
