Prologue

A few years ago

~~~Y/n's POV~~~

"Y/n wake-up darling it's time to get up," my mom said as she tried to get me to wake up from my sleep "nooooo five more minutes mommm," I told my mother in my exaggerated sleepy voice

"Well too bad we have to help your pops hunt so if you don't want me to pick you up by your scruff and carry you in front of the whole pack to see I suggest you get up hun," my mother said while smirking at my reaction since I jumped out of my sleep and looked like I've been awake the whole time

"Alright now that your awake, me and your father decided to teach you how to hunt officially," my mother told me while seeing me jumping around with joy "Really!! Really Really Really!!! Best day ever!!!" I exclaimed out of joy

"Alright you see that bunny right what you wanna do is sure you're not visible so the bunny won't see you and run away so your going to blend in and that shouldn't be hard for you since you can blend in with basically anything sweetie so use that to your advantage and when you think you have them pounce on them got it," my mother said teaching me how to hunt but then I heard barking and loud growls

"Mom! what's happening?" I question my mother whose confused and also panicking then when she got a good look at the situation she told me to run "Y/n Run Now!" "But mom why what's happening to tell me what's going on?" I question still not moving a muscle

"Now Y/n this isn't up for discussion" with that I started running but my mother ran towards the fight probably to get father but then as soon as I got far away from the scene I ran into a human pointing a spear at my head I didn't make a move for I was scared for my life and only seemed to whimper

Then the last thing I expected the human to do "Well your young we could keep you and release you when your older" the human spoke then the human picked me up by my scruff and took me to a camp then he took me to a house to where there was a beautiful human. They talked for a while but I ignored their conversation and curled up into a ball still very frightened.

"Hey come here little one," the nice lady cooed at me as she slowly walked over to me "You need a name but what shall I call you sweetie?" She asked me thinking I wouldn't respond but she was wrong my mother showed me how to write with my claws so I found a flat patch of dirt and wrote Y/n when I finished I turn around and sat down and saw their faces were showing mixed emotions "okay you can stay but you'll have to be trained to help us hunt and to help us you can not hurt us she's not a dog she's a saber" she said while picking me up and this time I willingly let her pick me up and I licked her nose and she let out a chuckle

1 year later

I got up from my nap and got ready for my usual tasks like helping Nadia who just had a baby which meant that I would take care of the baby while Nadia slept and this would mean keeping him distracted as if he was crying and Nadia wasn't here I would play with him and nuzzle him with my muzzle and purring sometimes to make sure he fell asleep and some times licking him softly you know basic mother instincts kicking in but it came to an end

When I reached 2 years of age when they released me I was happy but Nadia didn't want to let me go just yet they know I had to be free and start my life so I headed out to start my journey after I said my goodbyes but it wasn't long before I met a mammoth who let me call him Manny after I helped him with an attack and we became great friends and we adopted each other as brother and sister.

I'll continue on the next chapter I promise I'll make it longer but I wrote this while in class and I had my camera and my teacher is getting suspicious so I hope y'all have a great time and enjoy this chapter Byeeeeee!!!
