Ice age (Diego x female reader)

On the Move

There were so many different types of herds heading to the south while many and just headed back north since we just came back we do this every year to avoid social contact with other animals.

"Why not call it the Big Chill or the Nippy era?" "I'm just sayin', how do we know it's an ice age?"
"Because of all the ice." "Well, things just got a little chillier." "Help. Help." "Come on, kids, let's go. The traffic's movin'." "But, but, but, Dad." "No buts. You can play extinction later." "OK. Come on, guys."
"Look out a saber!!"
"You're going the wrong way."
"Crazy mammoth."
"What's a saber doing here"

"Do the world a favor. Move your issues off the road." A Palaeotherium said (that's what they're called supposedly)
"If my trunk was that small, I wouldn't draw attention to myself, pal," Manny spoke not caring what he'd say next

"Give me a break. We've been waddlin' all day." The Palaeotherium said getting nervous and scared because of Manny's size

"Go ahead. Follow the crowd. It'll be quieter when you're gone."

"Manny what's the first thing you wanna do when we get back," I asked Manny

"Come on. If they want to freeze to death, let them." Someone said am guessing referring to us

"I don't know but telling by the clouds I guess to make a shelter when we're out of the crowd," Manny told me

"Alright but if I need any help carrying my wood can you please help me," I said to Manny

"Fine but you'll owe me," Manny told me and I nodded and continued walking with him to get out of the crowd.

A few hours later with Sid

~~~[Sid's POV]~~~
"I'm up. I'm up." I told myself a got up to wake up everyone

"Rise and shine, everybody. Huh? Zak? Marshall? Bertie? Uncle Fungus? Where is everybody? Come on, guys, we're gonna miss the migration." I told them so they can come out of their hiding spot but then I realized "They left without me. They do this every year. Why? Doesn't anyone love me?" I ask the random Glyptodon

"Isn't there anyone who cares about Sid the Sloth? All right, I'll just go by myself. Sick. Widebody, curb it next time. Oh, jeez. Yuck." I said trying to get the poop out of my fur. (idk) I kept walking backward then I started stepping in leaves and heard the two rhinos talking about their meal then I saw the best thing ever a Dandelion

         "A dandelion. Must be the last one of the season." After I said that I ate it forgetting about the rhinos behind me and just enjoyed the everlasting flavors

"- Carl. - Easy, Frank."

"He ruined our salad."

"My mistake. That was my mistake. Let me... No, no, seriously, let me take care of this. What is this?" I tell them backing up to see if there was anything to keep me alive

"Pinecones. Oh, my goodness. They're my favorite." I said to them while taking a bite

"Delicious. That's good eating. But don't let me hog them all up."

"Here, you have some."

"Tasty, isn't it? "Bon appétit."

"Now?"
"Now."

   After I heard that I ran as fast as I could and I got a pretty far distance but I bumped into a mammoth and a saber tooth tiger.

  "Just pretend that I'm not here," I tell them walking quickly to hide behind the mammoth but the rhinos managed to see me

~~~{Y/n POV}~~~

"I wanted to hit him at full speed."

"Manny, who is this?" I asked Manny referring to the smelly green ground sloth that hid behind Manny
(I didn't even know ground sloths existed)

"I don't know do you know him?" Manny asked me then I gave him a "did you ask me the same question"

"Why would I ask- never mind," I tell him then I turn my direction to the angry rhinos that we're chasing this ground sloth

"Hey umm... can we help you or is it your plan to bother other animals?" I told the rhinos in an annoyed tone

I'll continue this today when my classes are over but here's a small chapter enjoy byeeee!!!! (Again am sorry for taking too long to update)
