"Thank you for letting me in." Bokuto said bending at his waist as he was about to leave

"Hey don't do that." You said grabbing his shoulders to make him stand up straight

"It's the least I could do before you have a longer walk home. Either way you helped me so I should be thanking you." You said laughing.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow." Bokuto said before walking out your door.

You followed behind him and poked your head out the door frame.

"Bye get home safe." You waved at him before closing the door and locking it.

You went to the kitchen to do the last bit of cleaning up and washing of the dishes. You heard the door open and you knew it was your mom. You quickly dried your hands and went to the door.

"Welcome home." You said to your mom who was taking off her shoes.

"I made pasta would you like me to serve you some?" You asked her

"Yeah sure." She said brushing past you. You quickly ran to the kitchen grabbing the plate you kept in the microwave to keep warm for your mom.

"It's ready when you are." You said placing the plate in front of where she sat. You ran to the other side of the table and sat crisscross in front of her.

"Mom I made the volleyball team." You said excited

"That's great sweetie, did you get the position you wanted?" She asked taking another bite.

"Yes libero." You said

"Libero huh? I thought you played setter?" She asked looking at you.

"Nope always played libero." You said chuckling

"Hmm odd, must be thinking about someone else then." She said you looked down at your lap then back up at your mom

"Thanks for the food sweetie don't forget to study I'm leaving again I have a meeting to attend and I won't be back until late so don't wait up on me, alright bye." She said before walking out of the dinning area back towards the door

This is how it always was she always had work really late the only time you ever got to see her were in the morning before school and sometimes for dinner. It's probably what drove your dad insane the most all she did was work. She's probably never watched one of your volleyball games all she cared about is that you did well in school.

You got up from where you were seated and cleaned up after your mom. After finally being done with the cleaning you made your way up to your room and sat on your desk to do your homework for that night.

Once you finally finished all your work you decided it was time to shower and get ready for bed.

Once you got out the shower you did your regular routine, wash your face, brush your teeth, and then lay down on your phone until you got tired.

After a while you got tired and decided it was time to go to sleep then you did.

Tbh idk why i wrote that should've just made yo ass fall asleep since the beginning 😁 anyway time skip to the morning

You looked at your self in the mirror after putting on the uniform. You decided to skip the blazer today and just where the white button up.

Your grabbed your bag from the corner of the room and ran downstairs and there was your mom in the kitchen making herself a sandwich.

"Morning mom." You said walking towards the fridge to get out the orange juice.

"Morning." She said "Do you have volleyball today?" She asked

"Yes everyday." You said putting peanut butter on your toast

"Hmm either way I won't be back home until tomorrow afternoon, business things, so make sure you eat. And I'll be checking your grades later making sure you're on top of things at school, gotta get into a good college." She said before walking up the stairs.

You smiled at her while she walked up the stares then quickly ate your toast.

Once you finished you slipped on your shoes and went out the door with your bag.

You got to school quickly and made your way to your locker to grab your math book.

"Hey." You heard a voice say next to you.

You turned your head to the left and saw Bokuto leaning against the lockers next to you

"Hi" You said smiling at him then closing your locker.

"Are you excited for practice?" He said looking down at you

"Ehh I guess" You said hugging your book walking towards your guys class.

"I'm sure you'll do amazing." He said

"Thanks Bokuto." You said looking down at your feet and you try to hide your smile.

"Hey are you any good at math?" Bokuto asked you

"Yeah kinda." You stopped and faced him.

"Awesome do you please think you could help me with the math test coming up. I know close to nothing and I'm in desperate need of a tutor." He said grabbing your arms that were wrapped around your book.

"Uhh sure you can come to my house tonight if you want my mom won't be home." You said flustered by his actions

"Awesome" He said then continued walking.

You stayed there wondering how he could just walk away after such actions. 'Is he just dense?' You asked yourself.

You shook the thought then eventually caught up to Bokuto

"He look it's Akaashi" He said referring to the man you had meet yesterday

"Akaashi!!" Bokuto yelled waving to get the boys attention.

Akaashi quickly snapped his head in the direction that the voice came from and locked eyes with you. He didn't hesitate to walk over while Bokuto got in front of you.

You weren't sure if he was trying to hide you or just excited to see Akaashi.

"Bokuto you don't have to be so loud in the morning." Akaashi said to him in a calm voice.

"Look it's y/n you met her yesterday." He said moving away exposing you standing right in front of Akaashi.

"Hello." You said looking up at him

"Akaashi is a second year and he's my setter." Bokuto said looking down at you. You just nodded your head looking at Bokuto then at Akaashi who was just observing you.

You got shy and looked down at your feet. The 2 boys next to you were huge compared to you.

"Anyway let's get going y/n" Bokuto said then started walking off

"Later." Akaashi said blankly then started walking in the other direction

You followed behind Bokuto going to class.

*Timeskip to the end of day bc i'm lazy*

You decided that you didn't want to play volleyball anymore and you thanked the coaches for their time. You realized that you never really did enjoy it, you mostly did it because your mom wanted you to.

I decided to not have you in volleyball bc that's just going to take away from bokuto time.

You waited outside of the boys gym waiting for Bokuto as he was going over to your house today.

"Hey!" Bokuto said walking up to you with his hands in his jacket pocket

"Ready to go?" You asked tightening the hand on your bag strap. Bokuto just smiled and nodded at you and you guys were on your way.
