Chapter - 4 Breakfast

Dad asked us a lot of questions about school. Em and Ro slept the minute we all sat down. After half an hour, we finally reached home. Dad parked the car. Harry went to his house. Mom opened the door before we even rang the bell. Dad woke Em and Ro. I ran and hugged mom.

"It's so nice to see you, mom," I said.

"You too," she said and smiled. We were, met with a delicious aroma of food, Which had immediately freshened Em and Ro.

"Yum!" Said Ro. We went to the dining hall; Mom had made a lot of dishes. There was chicken, rice, fries, and desserts.

"Go and freshen up quickly, girls. Then we can have dinner," said mom

"yes," we all said happily. I went to my room. It was just as clean as I had left it. I went and washed my face and took a quick warm bath. Then I went downstairs for dinner. Everyone was there; I sat on my chair and began eating. It was such a joyful time. All of us had turns telling mom about school and our teachers. Mom and dad told us their stories.

"Aunt Kate, you're an amazing cook," said Ro, cheerfully munching her chicken.

"Thanks, dear," mom said.

"Mom, you should be a cook. Everyone will come to eat your wonderful food," said Em.

Mom laughed and said, "Umm... if I become a cook, I won't get time to be with you when you come home."

"Oh!" Said Em. After eating, we all got ready for bed. All of us were very tired. I went and laid on my wonderfully soft bed.

"Ahh! my lovely sweet bed," I said and closed my eyes.

The next morning, I got up and got ready for breakfast. I went down. Harry's family had joined us for lunch. I went to greet them.

"Hi, Hailey," I said and hugged her. She hugged me back.

"It's lovely to see you again too, Cathy," Said Hailey. I sat down on my chair.

"No, Cathy dear, we are eating in the backyard. It's lovely outside," said mom.

"Oh!" I said, getting up to help mom and aunt Amanda. Dad and uncle Jack were discussing something.

"Cathy dear, can you go and ask the others to come down?" Mom called from outside.

"Yes, mom, in a minute," I said. I was carrying the pasta dish to the back yard.

"Here, let me take it," said Harry

"No, Harry, I got it," I answered. I kept it on the blanket laid on the grass. Then I went to call the others. Celine and Ariadne were coming down; I went to Em's room. I knocked on the door. She didn't open the door.

"Em, I am coming in," I said and went inside. Em's room was a little messy. Em was still sleeping.

"Em, get up. Momz calling you," I said

"Agh! Why?" She said.

"For breakfast, duh!" I said.

"Yes, I'll be down in 5," she answered. Now, I have to wake Ro up. I made my way to Ro's room. I knocked on the door.

"Ro, Ro, get up. Momz, calling you for breakfast," I said.

"Yeah, I almost ready," she said. I did not expect her to be ready went and sat down beside Hailey. After some time, Em and Ro came down. We began eating; Everything was lovely. The weather was Amazing outside.

"Jack and I have good news for you guys," Said dad.

"What is it, dad?" Asked Celine, who was always curious.

"After breakfast," stated dad. I wondered what News Dad and uncle Jack have. So, after breakfast, we all went to the living room to see what dad and uncle Jack had to say.
