Chapter 9 - The distraction

I hesitantly stood up from my seat. By this point no one else was shouting things, they knew both of us would put our names in. There was definitely something going on.

Once I made my way up Dumbledore took us all back to where no one could see us.

He ran up to me and Harry and screamed "Y/N! HARRY! DID YOU PUT YOUR NAMES IN THE GOBLET OF FIRE?!"

"No sir I swear to merlin" Harry said quickly

"Yeah what type of idiot would want to compete in this death trap." I said quickly glance at the three other victors whispering a "sorry"

"Well, I'm sorry to tell you two this but your going to have to compete. "

"What? Why!" I screamed

"Y/n I'm sorry but there is no way around it. Once your name comes out of that goblet you have to compete weather you like it or not!"

Me and Harry nervously looked at each other. We still haven't talked since last night but in this moment I didn't care.

He saw my worry and grabbed me and hugged me. It was nice.

"Well you give better go. Harry, y/n I will excuse you from your classes for today due to this shock. I will also excuse ms Granger and Mr Weasley if you would like." Dumbledore said kindly

Harry took the liberty of speaking and said "thank you sir, we'll go and tell them." 

With that we both walked out into the hallway. It was empty because everyone was in classes.

"I don't believe it Harry." I said with a shaky voice.

"Me too, but we will go to this tournament and we will do what we can to survive. Okay?" He said trying to reassure me but obviously it didn't work because of what he was saying.

"Okay" I said

"Well let's go to potions and get Ron and 'mione out of class, Ron will be bussing"

I let out a laugh at the thought of Ron doing literally anything to get out of class.

We made it to snakes room and Harry knocked on the door before slightly entering.

Then all eyes were on us.

"Mr and Miss Potter, what do I owe the pleasure." He said sarcastically

Harry then said "um me and y/n have been told to get Ron and Hermione."

"And why is that Mr Potter?"

"They've been excused from classes today." I said before Harry could give him a snarky comment to make us loose house points.

"Very well then, only because of the dramatic stunt this morning." He said

Harry was about to say something but I squeezed his hand to tell him to 'shut it'

Once Ron and Hermione were all pack up we all left. Ron skipping through the hallways and Hermione in a mood.

"Oh come on Hermione, it's only one day. Besides Dumbledore said you have to comfort us." I said sarcastically

"Ugh I guess one day is fine" she said unconvincingly.

"Yess" I whispered

We all got changed out of our robes.

We decided to go to hogsmeade to clear me and Harry's minds, I mean there was no point worrying about it yet when the first task is weeks away.
