A kiss under the moon

Smooches, kisses, puggies whatever you call them everyone wishes to know or experience how their first kiss would be like?

With whom?

Will it be the best feeling ever or will it be the worst ?

Everyone wishes to fall in love.. Maybe some don't, but maybe a majority of people do wish to experience it with someone, someone who would turn out to be the most important person in their life. These days it's like people keeping their options open by flirting with 10 people simultaneously... happened to me.. But I still remember my first kiss, which was a beautiful kiss under the moon.

"Janice", Lilly called me from downstairs.I stepped away from my desk where I was writing my diary and headed downstairs.

"Can you help me lift this load please?", asked my sister.

"Yeah sure.", I rolled my eyes.

I helped her lift the load and then helped her adjust the cabinet.

It was a little past 5.. It was a cool evening and I wanted to go outside.

"Mom, I'm going out.", I pleaded.

"Be back soon don't be late.". She yelled.

"Okay, don't yell mom.", I said before I headed outside.

I stepped out and saw the orange and bluish sky and felt fresh.

I remember when me and Daniel walked around the pond near my house.I slowly headed towards the pond.

There was the same bench we used to sit and enjoy the ducks circling in the water and sparrows chirping on the railing.

The faint horn sounds, the sound of the breeze and the smell of the lillies and the whining of a cute little pup.

I remember that day.

Daniel and I went out to catch up a movie. It was a horrible one and we joked a lot about that movie. It was just a few days since we started dating.

After the movie we went to a restaurant and ordered pizza, after eating till our stomachs were about to explode, we headed out.

It was past 3 and he came to my house. My dad wasn't home luckily and my mom and sister greeted him and then we went to my room upstairs and I showed him my guitar and it got pretty boring after that.

I thought about heading out and asked if he was intrested in a small walk talk.

He had a big smile on his face and said yes and then we headed out.

As we walked we came by this pond..it was beautiful.. It was just a few blocks away from my home but I have never seen it.

I was beauty stricken.. It was a very cool environment and the water was pure blue.

I fell in love with it, then we sat on a cute bench. Daniel and I talked for a few minutes and then we saw the ducks dancing and sparrows chirping.. The sky turned orangish blue. It was a breezy evening .

A puppy came by whining with a cute little bark.. An old man came yelling "Snoopy". We handed the cute pup over... It was wagging its tail in excitement and it looked super adorable.

After the old man left we saw a few children cycling past the pond.

It was past 7 when we stopped talking and realized we were alone.

We took a stroll and kept walking silently , while we were walking the moonlight poured over our skin . We went back near the pond and looked into the water which was reflecting the full moon.

I stumbled and Daniel caught me.

In that very moment our eyes met , i felt contented about the way we spent our day.

"I love you Dan! . I wanna spend the rest of my life with you like this" , I said.

He kept staring into my eyes and pulled me by my waist.

He pulled me close and gave a peck on by neck and said " Me too..!".

We smiled and our lips met.

I had my first kiss of my life , A kiss under the moon ..!
