The Night❤

The following day Meena dilatory woke up to involuntarily bask in the biggest star which came straight from her gigantic windowpane.She kept her eyes shrinked because the Sun made linear way to her morning puffy eyes.All she wanted that time was to pull her cozy blanket back and just snug in her bed all day long.She sealed her eyes and slowly leaned back when a thought immediately stopped her from passing out and got her straight on her back.Now Arjun forwarded towards her as he put his Angvastra and said,"Sleep a little more if you want...because after this you won't get time to sleep as tomorrow is a big day for our Jyesht",he said with a bright smile...

Meena just responded,"ohh,"..in a light tone with a numb face.Now this got Arjun worried.He made his seat near her and took her hands in his asking,"Are you okay??,coz I just told you such a wonderful thing..it's my Jyesht's coronation tomorrow and your best friend is going to rule..and is this your reaction?,"he asked in a low concerned tone.

Meena ignoring what he said,just asked him,"Arjun can I sleep a little more,coz this headache is just killing me?,"she asked clearly faking it.

She didn't even look at him.She even asked him to leave and not to disturb her for another two hours.She tried her level best to be subtle and not be rude with him.Now Arjun was stuck in a dilemma coz she was the same human who literally hugged him so tight the previous night that his ribcage would almost crumble,but now she was not even able to meet him in his eyes.It seemed like she kept something hidden or felt guilty about something.

Arjun who genuinely didn't know, how to bring out what's accurately bothering her mind..just left the room with a  long face.Melancholy took over him as many questions popped his mind.He tried to fathom the reason for her abrupt weird behavior.

Now Meena who couldn't keep her calm and patience,just impulsively made her way to Sivu's room not realizing that it was not anymore just her friend's room where she could come and peek anytime but also the near Future's King and Queen's room.

Moreover the before night was their first night of the harmonious wedding.But losing her manners and visiting her friend abrupty who was just a day wed,was something far from her sight and mind,because the dreadful dream which shook her  topped her anxiety list.She just went to her room and started pleading to the guards to let her in without seeking permission from the Queen.

Guards:Sorry Devi,I'm requesting you to leave or you can wait for another hour outside because the King has ordered us not to leave anyone inside..(he said following his typical curtsy of putting his heads down).

Meena trying not to blurt out here itself ,just went on explaining the seriousness of her concern like a maniac as if they would understand.

Guards:Apologizies again Devi,the King will not let anyone in until it's an emergency.

Meena:Listen!!..this is an emergency only..I need to meet my friend right now..otherwise I would pass out here itself..moreover your Queen is my best friend..I don't need her permission to meet her..and I know Karn JiJu is very understanding..(she said internaly falling apart in anxiety)..

Guard:Don't think I'm purposely denying you miss..but u have to,it's my duty to follow the King's orders(he said trying his most to make her understand).

Meena just went below the belt and literally started yelling as she summoned her name.

Meena:Sivu come out yaar!..Sivu!!...Sivu..(she went on yelling).

The guards tried very hard to send her from there,but the audacity of her voice would have reached heaven itself,so it didn't fail to fall into her friend cum saviour's ears.Sivu immediately panicked and came out of the room,this time she didn't come out like the past ordinary Kaliyug girl who just lazily finished watching Netflix at 5 with a tired and puffy face,instead she came out fully dressed up capable to make the brides jealous..tip to toe covered in gold vividly flaunting the vibe of a Queen.
