THE TIME TRAVEL

Chapter 3

These are the characters Sivu and Meena

(A/N:Sentences in Italics denote words spoken in Sanskrit and the normal font denotes words spoken in English).

For a few seconds both of the girls were clearly lost and scared not knowing what to speak or how to explain the situation.

On the horse was a tall and muscular man with a wheatish complexion. His eyes were filled with positivity,generosity and dharma.Though the girls were on their own for the first time that also completely in a different era,seeing him gave them a sense of hope.

The man:Who are you girls???,What are you doing in the Jungle this time and that too in these weird clothes?(he asked quizzically with a concern).

Someone had to start the conversation, so Sivu spoke.Sivu was a brave and outspoken girl,but also she wouldn't think before doing something daring which often lead her to problems.

Sivu:"Leave us,who are you first?",she asked with a shaky voice..

Meena:You understand Sanskrit right??..then why not speak in that..he doesn't understand English..(she said hitting her unnoticed)..

Sivu:I can understand..that's why I'm responding..but I don't think I'm great in speaking this language..If I say something wrong..it will make the situation even more worse..

Meena rolling her eyes:You literally took Sanskrit as your second language during school and you can't respond his simple question..

Sivu with an arched brow:Simple question??..he is asking our identity??..should I tell him,that we are from the future?..and moreover you too read a lot of Sanskrit books..so why can't you answer?..

Now as they were quarrelling among themselves,Karn got irritated and interrupted them..

The man:What language are you'll speaking??..I can't get your tongue..I'm sure you both are some demon,disguised in the form of a maiden..If so,you can never escape from me(he said staring)

Sivu staring back:Hello!!..we are not any Demon..firstly tell me who you are??

The man:I'm Karn..the king of Ang..(he said with a poker face).

The minute meena heard this she fainted coz she came to know that she was in the mahabharat era ,she just couldn't believe her eyes that she met the one and only Angraj karn,it was a lot for her to take in.

Sivu :"Meena!Meena!What happened to you?,wake up girl",she panicked.Angraj Karn I can't explain you anything right now..please help me first(she pleaded).

Karn agreed to it and ordered his men who accompanied him to put Meena in his chariot.He asked Sivu to join another soldier on his horse coz there was not much space in his chariot.

Sivu:"I don't know how to climb a horse, she said blinking.

Karn gave her a weird look coz that is the basic thing one could do in their era.
