chapter 11

"hey." jimin knocked a knuckle onto the door frame of taehyungs room, glancing at the younger sat on his bed.

taehyung had been quiet, mulling over something all night.

his head was placed in his hands as he bit his lip, not making eye contact with the other who walked in, sitting beside him carefully, reaching a hand out to gently caress his spine.

"you can tell me." jimin smiled gently, taehyung nodding.

"is it okay, for an... alpha to -" he sighed, turning to make eye contact with jimin. "- love another alpha the way we would love an omega?"

jimins eyes widened.

it was always just alpha and their omega. he'd never thought of an alpha and alpha combination. he'd heard of omegas being together but they usually eventually bring an alpha into the equation.

alphas need omegas the same way omegas need an alpha.

"tae-" jimin sighed, biting his lip a little. he didn't know how to approach the subject, i mean who would?

"it's okay. i know it's strange a-and i shouldn't even be considering it but..." he bit his lip, shaking his head a little. "i love him jimin. i can't live without him."

jimin nodded in understanding. he sucked in a breath, asking the question on the tip of his tongue. "who is it?"

taehyung smiled a little. "jeongguk-ah."

hoseok hummed gently as he held the food bags in his lap, watching the scenery pass by.

yoongi had firstly taken him to a small burger restaurant, ordering the tastiest burger for hoseok and himself as well as a portion of fries for them to share. he made sure that hoseok had a vanilla milkshake, taking an extra straw so they could share the large sweet treat.

"where are we going hyungie?" the omega was practically bouncing in his seat, eyes wide and full of galaxies even in the day time.

"only a few more minutes now peach." yoongi smiled, reaching a hand over to rest it on the boys thigh, caressing the soft skin underneath his palm, knowing that the omega was slowly melting into a flushed mess.

a few minutes finally passed, yoongi turning into a small, empty car park, making sure that the boot was facing the scenery as he parked up, turning to hoseok, the smaller having an eager smile on his face.

and it was beautiful, just like yoongi had promised. a glistening lake surrounded by greenery, the sun gently setting in the background adding a rose hue to the sky, flowers scattered across the small lawn in the gap between the car park and the lake.

hoseok gasped, moving towards the lake as yoongi set up the boot, laying down a picnic blanket and their food, making sure it was perfect.

"do you like it peach?" the older asked after he'd finished setting up their picnic area, hands going to rest against the younger's waist, fire igniting on the covered skin of both of the boys.

"i love it alpha! it's so beautiful." hoseok mumbled, leaning back onto yoongi's back, the older resting his chin against the soft hair as they both gazed out at the breathtaking sight in front of them.

yoongi lent down, ears brushing against hoseok's ear lobe. "however, i think the best view, is right here, in my arms."

hoseok immediately flushed red. he was surprised he wasn't a tomato with the way his hyung was teasing him all the time!

yoongi led the younger back to the picnic, setting the fries and milkshake in the middle as the pair held their burgers, legs dangling outside the car as they stared ahead at the scenery.
