"Majesty, I'm sorry bout that shit," Lontrell clenched the stirring wheel, he was livid and so was I. "My mama know ion een fuck with them other folks."

They just started judging me before I could even get a word out and that's another reason why I hate meeting dudes family. Always feel the need to be rude and disrespectful for no apparent reason.

But what did I expect? My daughter's other side of the family was the same exact way. People like them can stay out of my way, I don't need that type of energy when I'm trying to get my shit together right now.

I didn't say anything, just rested my head on the window.

We were now sitting in front of his house, parked. "Dont light that shit, you forgot Lani was in the back?" I looked over at him with my brows knitted together as he started to light a backwood.

"Oh shit," Lontrell placed it back in his pocket, "My mind gone, I need a blunt, shit got me mad." He leaned back in his seat, placing his hands in his pants.

"Don't even worry about that, yea the shit kinda got me mad but I ain't pressing over they ghetto ass opinion that ain't true." I looked back at Ilani who was slumped in her seat with her head tilted, damn near breaking her neck.

"Lontrell, take her in the house. She finna break her damn neck,"

He looked back at her, slightly laughing. "Her ass sleep wild just like me," I watched he hopped out, pulling his sagging pants up.

Once he had her, we proceeded to go in his house. He went to put Lani in her room that she had here while I sat in the living room.

"Who we textin'?" He flopped down beside me, placing his arm around my shoulder.

"I'm texting the real estate and it's who I'm texting," I playfully rolled my eyes while locking my phone back.

Lontrell smacked his teeth, changing positioning to where his head was laying in my lap. "Big Majesty, buying a house and shit. I'm tryna get like you Ma." He hyped me.

"Nah you the one with all the money,"

"That's all you' shorty," Lontrell chuckled as I started to pick the small bump on his chin. "Stop that shit." He turned his face.

I don't know what it is about it but I love busting bumps, "Boy come here and let me bust it," I rolled my eyes.

"How you gone get mad cause I won't let you bust a bump off my face?" He looked up at me with his eyes squinted a little.

"I'm not even mad," I pushed his head off my lap. "Massage my feet, they hurt."

"Nah, ian massaging them lil stink ass feet since you wanna push my head off yo' lap." He sat up, turning the tv on before relaxing on the couch.

"They can't be too stink you love playing with em, you wanted to suck them and all. Don't play with me Isaac,"

"You kizzying. I ain't neva wanted to suck on them lil ugly ahh things." Lontrell smacked his teeth, flicking through the channels. "Stop playing with me luh girl," He reached over to where I was and smacked my thigh.

"I told you that shit heard—," I rolled my eyes as my phone started to ring, Kapri's grandma flashed across the screen. I quickly answered.

"Hello," I answered once the call was connected. "Hey Majesty, Kapri wanted to talk to you." Ms. Linda said in a frail tone. Shuffling was heard before my babygirl's voice appeared on the phone.

"Hi mommy," Her soft, gibberish voice flowed through the phone. "Hey baby, what you doing," I smiled.

"Coco what you doin girl?" I slightly chuckled at how she was trying to say Cocomelon. She was advance for her age though, always been.

"Girl don't call me that I'm mommy, Kapri." I laughed.

I heard her sigh. "I kno that mommy, can we go to Disney world and see coco meon?" She dramatically said.

She act so much like her dad it's crazy. It's crazy how she'll never be able to experience having a father, this world was evil as hell and I wanted to protect her from it. He was killed by niggas who wasn't even from Texas, people who he ain't have no beef with it.

"Of course mama, you can get anything you want as long as you bring good."

"I'm good mommy," She giggled, I started to hear shuffling. "We'll talk to you later, I got some places to be. Kapri tell bye bye," Ms. Linda appeared on the line.

At this point I was exasperated with this lady.

"Bye mommy, wuv you."

"I love you more, be good." I said and with that, the call was disconnected.

"You look irritated, you good ma?" Lontrell sat closer by me, I laid my head on his shoulder, relaxing.

"I'm alright, it's just every time I'm on the phone with my baby we can't even talk for a full ten minutes."

"Come on, we can go kidnap her then. Fuck that old ass lady, I got some for her." He lifted his shirt, showing a gun.

I laughed, cause he was actually serious with his crazy ass. "No lontrell, put that away. Crazy ass." I snatched his shirt back down.
