Ellie was sat infront of the TV, watching the news. It was always nerve-wracking watching it. They always had something new to say about the virus.

But this time was different.

"Scientists from around the world are desperately searching for a cure for COVID-19, but have been unsuccessful thus far," the news reporter stated. "Scientist Bob Bobberson officially claims that there is no cure to the virus. I repeat, there is no cure for Coronavirus."

Ellie stared at the TV, confused and scared. She looked at George, wondering if he had any answers. No. He looked just as worried as she did.

"Wait... George... Mermaid medicine..." Ellie had an idea. "That mermaid didn't give you to me for moral support! She gave you to me for the virus!"

George stepped back, a look of betrayal spreading across his little piggy face.
"You... You don't mean..." He stuttered.

"George, it's for the greater good... You have to..."

George refused to comply, so she picked him up and ran up to her room. "That box has mermaid magic in it, you'll be put to sleep when you're in there!" She yelled. George kept resisting, bur it was no good. He ended up back where he came from all that time ago - that tiny wooden box.

Ellie made a few calls, and eventually sold George to scientists for millions of dollars. She was proud of herself.

The scientists couldn't explain how this guinea pig or this box was magical, but they didn't complain. They happily took the opportunity. In the end, even if it doesn't work, it's just a guinea pig. What's the worst that could happen if one small guinea pig dies?

Ellie, having loads of free time on her hands, decided to get back in touch with Benji. She ran to find her phone.

She called him.

She called him again.

And again.

No answer.

Until next time~
