Lonely

You walked up to a small hut belonging to a certain brunette. You knocked on the door lightly but there wasn't an answer. No surprise there.

You turned the knob to find it unlocked and walked inside. The hut was a mess. Torn pictures strewn across the floor in a piles of shattered glass.

You carefully picked the pictures and sat them on a table while you swept up the glass.

You tossed the shards away and headed up the stairs. "Sora?"

No answer. You now stood in front of his bedroom door. You grasped the door knob and turned but it wouldn't budge. You peeked inside the key hole to see a figure leaning against the bed.

"Go away [Name]." A faint voice croaked.
"Sora... No one has seen you in a few weeks. Why are you doing this to yourself?" you found it hard to speak.
"I said go away. You don't understand." he sighed.
"What don't I understand?" you asked.

"He's my best friend. We been through so much together and he just left.... without a goodbye."

You could hear his faint crying.

"Sora, you can't just shut people out because of one person! He didn't just leave you. He left Kairi too. He was her best friend too. How do you think she feels? He left everyone he ever knew. I get that it's lonely without him....but you don't have to be alone... You're not alone." And with that you left with tears in your eyes.

Three days past and you decided to check up on Sora again. His door was still unlocked and you walked in. You were about to head upstairs until you noticed a letter on the table. It was addressed to you.

Inside it read..

[Name],

You're right. I'm not alone. And Riku shouldn't feel lonely either. I went to get him. Take care of Kairi. We'll be home soon.
