Because I Love You... Vanitas~

"I don't know him anymore, I don't even think I knew him from the start." You sobbed into your hands. "How can he be..the bad guy?"

It's been a few days since you broke up with your boyfriend of 3 years. And only minutes after finding out he worked for the dark side. How could he not tell you?

After all these years of memories, and after falling so deeply in love, destroyed.

How could he do this to you? Because of him, could you ever love someone again? Or even trust someone?

You were so torn up about this. You couldn't sleep or eat. All you could do was sleep, because every time you woke up, reality would hit you and you would sob your heart out again.

"I can't believe I fell in love with you!" you shouted, shoving your face into the pillow.

"Well you did." a husky voice chuckled from inside your room.

That attitude could only belong to one person.

"Why are you here?!" you lifted your face but you didn't look at him.

"Because, I came to explain some things." he sighed.

"I don't need your explanation. Please just leave." Your voice cracked as you tried to keep him from seeing you cry.

"[Name], just hear me out. I'm sorry I didn't tell you. It's not something easily said. Honestly, would you still would have wanted to be with me if you knew this is who I really am?" He said anger filling his voice.

You couldn't answer. You both knew the answer.

"Exactly."

"Is that all you wanted to say? Well hurry up and go." You said tired out. You couldn't do this.

"I may be the bad guy and I hid that from you but I won't hide how much I love you [Name]. I always did and always will." and with that Vanitas disappeared.

~Months Later

You began to started going out with friends and even on a few dates.
But no one seem to really stood out to you.

No one like he did.

You shook the thought from your head. You forced yourself to forget him and move on. It started to work and now your life has gone back to normal.

"Hey [Name]! Me and Olette are going to go out karoking with some guys from school. Wanna go?" Kairi asked you as you both walked home.

"Ah, I'll pass." You waved her off.

"Come on! Please! I know your still thinking bout you know who. What you need is a cutie to make you feel better." She smiled.

"I guess she's trying to be a good friend." you thought.

"Okay, I'll go." you hesitated.

"Yay! Meet me in the town square at 6:30." she waved as she turned onto her street.

"It's 7:00. Where is she?" You thought. You paced around when you stopped suddenly in front of a shop window. Your reflection stood in front of you. You had your hair curled and wore a simple dress with flats. It was strange to see yourself dressed up for the first time in awhile.

"Beautiful as always [Name]. Though I don't like all the new guys that hang around you. That's a big problem." You spun around to the voice.

"Why are you here?" you began to shake.

"Because I love you." He simply said. "And I can't stand watching you from afar any longer."

"Go away!" You began to cry. It's been almost a year since you saw him last. Why did he have to come now and ruin everything. "Please. Go away! I hate you!"

Sadness filled his eyes but he kept a smirk on his face.

"You don't mean that." He came close and leaned in.

You don't know why but you met his lips. Waves of emotions and memories rushed over you. Tears began to stream down your face.

He pulled away and began to wipe your tears. "Shh. Why are you crying?"

"Because I love you." you whispered.

"Go with me." Vanitas blurted out.

"But...I..."You began when you heard Kairi come running towards you. "Okay, let's go."

"Get away from her!" Kairi shouted. Vanitas grabbed your hand and off into the night you ran." [Name]!?" Was the last thing you heard before you two began to laugh.

You left your friends, family, home, and life. You would had to begin again now that you were a traitor but that didn't matter. As long as you were with Vanitas, that's all that mattered.
