3. RamKing

"See you in the apartment"

That was what King told Ram at the camp site before King left to visit his Grandma. A few days later he came back and text Ram about it. When Ram came to visit him at the apartment, King had acted as if nothing changed or happened between them.

He took Ram for dinner at the usual place and taught him about plants.

However, King never mentioned anything about that night in the camp.

Ram just let it be since he doesn't want King to feel uncomfortable about it. Perhaps King needed time, he try to gave him a reason. Or maybe ... 

"Hubby, let's head out to the sea again!", Boss's shouting distracted Ram's thought.

Mek giving Boss a piggyback ride as he rushed towards the sea for a swim.

'Guess Boss and Mek had sort things out. It's good to see them having fun like how they used to be.', Ram thought.

"What are you smiling at?"

King appeared beside Ram and sit beside him on the sandy beach.

Ram looking at Mek and Boss splashing water at each other.

"About them? Glad they're really having fun now.", King said.

Ram looked back at King, "P'King noticed too?"

"Hmmm... I felt something was off between this two for awhile ... but I guess I did not noticed as much as you did. I guess you observes better. It's true that they say those who talk less sees more ... do you agree?"

Ram stares out at the sea before answering.

"Not everything. There's a few things that happened for awhile now ... and I did not realized about it. And when I did, I don't know what to do about it. Maybe it's good not to notice things ...."

"You mean ... about your dad and ...", King stopped halfway looking at Ram's facial expression.

Ram stands up and walked away.

"Ram! Where are you going?"

Ram did not answer him but took out his phone.

King received a message from Ram soon after that.

'P'King don't have to follow me. I want to be alone for awhile. Need some time to figure things out.'

A ball hit King on his head and he almost dropped his phone.

"So sorry P'King. I throw the ball to high and Bohn couldn't catch it.", Duen apologized.

"Are you alright? And where's Ram going?" Bohn asked.

"Oh yea, where's Ram going? Is he alright?", Duen looked at his friends walking further away.

"Hey, did you bullied Ram and hurt his feelings?", Bohn asked.

"Nothing. He say he needed some time alone."

"Really? Hey, even though Ram seldom talks or shows much expression but nobody just walked away and said needed time alone just like that. There must be something going on here. And you King, you're not much different from Ram ... you hardly tell people about your feelings. Sometimes I think that your plants knows you better than we do.", Bohn said.

King felt bad because what Bohn just said is true.

"In fact, Ram isn't hard to talk to. For as long as I've known him, Ram will always treat people the way they treated him. If you really wish for him to open up ... you should open up yourself to him first.", Duen advised.
