"...dahil first pregnancy mo ito, the baby should be ready to come out any day now..." M's doctor said. She went for a check-up at Dr. Pau's clinic.

"I'm nervous and excited..."

"I'm sure you are. But you've been doing quite well your pregnancy that I don't see much complications. Have you kept that diary I suggested you make to track your pregnancy?"

"I admit hindi talaga ako mahilig sa pa-diary diary eversince. I just needed to somehow do it for other people kasi nga nag-ch-charting ako for my patients..."

"Ah yes, charting. I had to do that also nung nag-intern ako. Susmiyo!" Dr. Pau chuckled.

"Diba? Anyway, since ayaw naman na akong ipag-work ni J for the last 2 months, bored ako sa bahay kaya nagka-time na ako to write..."

"Eh di good..." Dr. Pau smiled. "So, anong mga nasulat mo?"

"Well, nagsimula sya na parang daily activities ko. Kung anong chores ang natapos, kung ano pang plano kong gawin. Mga lunch or merienda dates namin ni J o kaya ni Belle, yung bestfriend ko...tapos one afternoon, naisip kong isulat yung mga changes na napansin ko sa sarili ko during my pregnancy. I read a blog kasi na ganun. Yung blogger na pregnant at that time wrote down her funny pregnancy symptoms..."

"That's good..."

"Hmm...dun ko na-realize na halos pareho kami naramdaman at na-experience...."

"...since matagal na yung unang trimester mo, anong mga naalala mo na sinulat mo?"

"Hmm...nung una naming nalaman na preggy ako, I remember na nagsselos ako kay J for some chismis that I knew naman hindi totoo. Ewan ko ba but at that time, ang sensitive ko sa mga bagay-bagay. We had to move out of our rented apartment kasi ayaw nung landlady ng mag-partner or couple renters. Understandable naman kasi pang single occupancy lang yung bedrooms kahit na dalawang rooms yung nasa unit namin. Anyway, J had already been making plans to move to a bigger place pala. Bumili sya ng lote at nagpapatayo ng house for us."

"That's nice..."

"J had to go on conference in Florida while I had a conference in Singapore. Around two months after he returned, I found out I was pregnant...we moved to the new house soon after that after getting married secretly..."

"Oo nga...I think I remember hearing talk around the hospital about your relationship..."

"Kasi J and I weren't exactly friends when we first met. I don't remember much about the time we met nung mga bata pa kami..."

"Oh?"

M nodded. "We lived in the same village but only really met sometime during the end of the summer before he left for the States..."

"Ah. So nagkakilala nalang kayo ulit nung bumalik na sya dito?"
