"Kit, what are you doing?"
"Mom and Dad's anniversary is coming up and I asked Dad what his plans are"
"Are we having a party?"
Teana shook her head. "He didn't mention about a party. Baka he's going to take Mom out to dinner or something. I'm sure he's going to ask Yaya to buy flowers for her."
"Eh us, what are we going to do?"
"Hmm...you can help me"
"How?"
"Here, take a look at the list"
Bachi gets the piece of paper from Teana and reads it "...playground, chapel, soccer field, bikes, rain, payong, alley...ano to? It doesn't make sense..."
Teana shrugged her shoulders. She left the room and Bachi followed her. They went to J who was watching TV in the master's bedroom. M was busy in the kitchen.
"What's the score, Dad?" Bachi asks as he sits at the foot of the bed.
"2-3...Goal!" J exclaims while throwing a punch into the air. "Practice game lang..."
"Ang lakas!" Teana chimes in. Like her brother, Teana is quite athletic and a member of their school's varsity team.
The game ends and J turns the TV off. "Are we going to have dinner na?"
The kids shake their heads. "Kitty wants to ask you something"
"Hmm?" J glances at Teana.
"Eh kasi, diba I asked you what your plans are for your anniversary"
"O"
"And then you just answered with words..."
"...playground, chapel, soccer field, bikes, rain, payong, alley..." Bachi read the list.
J looked at the kids and smiled. "...dagdag mo dyan, band-aid..pasta..."
"Huh?" Bachi looks up from the list.
"Those are special places and things..."
"Huh?" Bachi scrunched his face in confusion.
Teana thought for a while and then said, "...special places and things for Mom?"
J nodded. "...and mine, also"
"Oh" Teana replied.
