The pair made their way through the place slowly, taking out men and picking up useful items along the way. Scarlett found a few grenades and put them in her jacket pockets with the extra ammo. They found two doors that needed key cards and set off to find them and came to a research lab where they could see a grey corpse on a metal table. Leon used a computer to open one of the lab rooms and they entered seeing a spider on the bed with blood around it.
Scarlett's head began hurting so much that her sight dimed and she dropped her gun clutching her head. She could hear Leon calling out to her and he caught her when she stumbled but closed her eyes tightly and gritted her teeth against the pain in her head as a memory surged to the front of her brain, forcing itself into her consciousness from where it was locked inside her head.
Scarlett strained against the metal cuffs keeping her arms and legs pinned to the surgical table. She had been brought here when she woke up in a small white room by men in full body tactical gear led by a blond man in a lab coat. She struggled against her restraint like she had been for a while, it seemed like it had been hours since she had been put here. The man had injected her with a few different liquids that burned her blood but they had finally faded. The man had also taken several vials of her blood before he left muttering about something called G.
She wasn't supposed to be here, she was supposed to be in her apartment getting ready for her return to work after a nice vacation. She could remember that the taxi she had gotten in that should have taken her home had made some wrong turns taking her into the Arklay mountains that surrounded her home town Raccoon City. When she tried to get the driver to stop he had ignored her and she had tried to open the car door only to find it was locked and she couldn't unlock it because that mechanism was gone from the back seat.
When the driver had finally stopped outside a large mansion she had been forced from the car by several men dressed in full body armor and hit in the head. After the blond man had injected her with the liquids he had left to watch her from a connected room through glass. She had withered in pain for a long time until it finally faded away, as the liquids had coursed through her system she had wished she would black out but it never happened. She turned her head to see her friend and a man she had began to develop feeling for come through a door.
"Albert! Hurry, get me out of this before they come back." She said to the man as he walked toward her with an odd look on his face, but when he got closer he simply ran his hand through her short brown locks and gazed down at her.
"I'm sorry Scarlett but I can't do that, you are the first true success we've had so far. It would be a shame to lose you so soon. We still have experiments to try on you." He said smiling down at her and her dark green eyes widened as she tried to process what he just said.
"What?" She asked softly not believing that she heard him correctly but he only moved away from her and grabbed a syringe with a murky white liquid and walked toward her with a sinister grin as the other man came back inside.
"It's a pity you won't remember me but it must be done if we're to become gods." Wesker whispered to her so that the other man didn't hear him.
"You will never be a god." She hissed back at him, she realized he wasn't there to help her but he was helping the people who had abducted her. She struggled as he injected her with the liquid and her eyes began to feel heavy.
"Oh Darling, I will become a god. You will become the name sake of your project... little Goddess." He said as she tried to stay conscious but failed because of whatever he had injected into her. Her last though before she blacked out was that she would get out of there and make him pay for this.
