Scarlett's thoughts were troubled as they walked and she felt a hand slip into hers and smiled over at Ashely who smiled back. They went up some stairs and through a door to the outside and looked up to the large metal towers.

"Something's not right Ashely, you stay here." Leon said echoing the feeling Scarlett had. Scarlett turned to the girl and pulled the weaker pistol with her initials and placed it in the girls hand.

"Wait no I don't know how to use this!" Ashely said trying to hand the gun back to Scarlett. Scarlett moved where she was behind the girl slightly and grabbed her wrist and pulled her arm up where the guns sights would be eye level for her.

"See these sights, you look through the middle and aim, you'll want to aim a little higher because the barrel of the gun down just a little bit lower than where you're looking." She explained as she moved the girls arm around a little bit so she could see what Scarlett was talking about.

"It's honestly just point and shoot from there. Since you've never shot a gun your best bet is to aim at center mass, or the chest of the person you're trying to hit. If anyone, I mean anyone you don't know comes through that path you shoot them." Scarlett instructed letting go of Ashely's wrist and the girl looked down at the gun in her hands before she looked back up at Scarlett with a scared expression.

"There's nothing to be afraid of, as long as you don't accidently pull the trigger you'll be fine. We'll be back for you, I promise." Scarlett said and Ashely looked hesitant to let them leave her but she gave Scarlett a hug, being sure not to accidently shoot her in the process.

"Ok, please be carful you two." Ashely said and Scarlett nodded before getting onto the lift with Leon and he hit the button. The blonde girl held Scarlett's eyes until they rose too high for them to see each other.

"You ready for this?" Scarlett asked Leon as she checked the other three guns she had, she knew there was no ammo in the rifle so she didn't bother pulling it off her back. She could feel Saddler at the top, waiting for them to reach him.

"With you by my side I'm ready for anything." Leon said looking at her with a soft but determined expression. What he said made her cheeks heat up but she smiled at him and stood on her tip toes to kiss his cheek.

"For good luck." She said when he raised a brow as she went back to standing normal and he laughed lightly shaking his head before pulling her to him to kiss her gently.

"We need all the luck we can get." He said lowly as he let her go and they reached the top to see Ada hanging from a part of the metal structure with rope tying her hands behind her back and around the middle. She was unconscious and it made Scarlett worry for the woman. They had both called her name to try and wake her but it didn't work as Scarlett felt Saddler come closer to where they were standing and they both looked to see him walking forward with the weird staff her had.

He raised his hand to try and control the plaga inside Leon but since it was now mostly gone, and what was left had bonded to his blood, Saddler had no effect of Leon who let out a laugh of triumph. Saddler made a noise of irritation and turned his gaze to Scarlett who smirked when he tried once again to control the plaga inside her but it still didn't work. He had never managed to get a hold of her or a sample of her blood so his was inferior to what was inside her.

"Better try a new trick cause that one's getting old." Leon said pulling his knife and pointing it at Saddler before he looked to Ada and threw it cutting the rope and letting her drop onto a tarp beneath her. This woke her up and she sat up looking at Leon and Scarlett.

"You ok?" Leon asked the woman and Scarlett grinned at her.

"I've been better." Ada replied honestly and smiled weakly at Scarlett who was still grinning at her from Leon's side.
