Don't get me wrong, Katie's a nice person. She's just really fake, her voice makes me cringe and so does the way she applies foundation. She's like a wannabe me, she dyed her hair bleach blonde AFTER I did, and she's like trying to steal my identity, I can feel it. She used to be really ugly, even uglier than she is now. Her hair was brown.. Gross. But yeah, she's nice. "Okay what's wrong?" She asked. "Nothing." I said even though something was definitely wrong. "Oh come on, you make it so obvious that you're upset. You seriously look like you just got a bad nose job and I'm really scared for you." If there's one quality I genuinely like about her, it's that she always knows when I'm upset and can find a way to cheer me up. "Let's go." She said. "Where?" I said as I followed her out the door. "You'll see, just get in the car." We drove for about 10 minutes and stopped. "Why'd you stop?" I asked. "Because we have reached our destination." We were parked in front of an abandoned amusement park that we went to when we were little. "Welcome to adventure land!" Katie said in excitement, as we got out of the car. "What are we doing here?" I really wanted to just stay at her house, I'm not in any mood to go down memory lane. "I'm gonna cheer you up and you'll remember all the great times we had here." She took my hand and tugged me around the abandoned park. We stopped in front of a huge carousel. "This was the first ride we ever went on. I was on the blue horse and you were on the purple one. Do you remember it?" I sure did remember, my horse was so much nicer than hers, I just laughed at her and her poor choice of horse. She took me over to a broken down Ferris wheel. "Now this was where you and Brandon met, you were eleven and ever since you guys had your first kiss on this very Ferris wheel, everyone knew you'd end up getting married someday." She said. It felt as if my head had exploded, all these memories and thoughts about Brandon, I just can't take it. I fell on to the ground crying non stop, I've never felt so terrible. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Katie asked. Obviously I'm not okay, as you can probably tell she's not the sharpest knife in the drawer. She helped me up and we got into the car, the drive home was quiet, awkwardly quiet. When we got to her house, we went up to her room and I laid on the bed for about 15 minutes just thinking. Until she finally broke the silence. "Are you and Brandon breaking up?"
