The four boys looked around at the mall and found it awkward that they didn’t have at least one girl with them. The only reason the girls didn’t go was because they were just getting back to their houses and they, basically, all went to sleep because their backs hurt from sleeping on her floor.
"Do you guys want to go in the arcade?” Gregg asked. The others shrugged their shoulders and went along with him. When they got there, they were saddened to see that it was packed and it would be nearly impossible to play the same game twice.
“Air hockey,” John stated. They went in the line for the game and dodged a flying pluck that almost took John’s ear out. “So, what’s been going on with you guys?”
"Do you really care?” Nino asked.
“Not really.” He shrugged his shoulders when they looked at him funny. It was just weird for him to be around Gregg without Miranda or Joy.
“I think I want to breakup with Miranda.”
“Dude, she’s hot,” Nino remarked.
"Do it.”
“Don’t bring me into it.”
“Yeah, but I don’t want everyone to hate me afterwards,” he responded.
“Tough break if they do.”
“No matter which way you dump her, you’ll always look like the bad guy.”
"Well, do you guys think I should?” All of them shrugged their shoulders not interested. Gregg knew that he wouldn’t get much of a response from them because it was always awkward when he and John were in the same room.
When Gregg didn’t get a response, he pursed his lips but didn’t say anything. He would much rather talk to Kriey about this. Although he didn’t know her well, she was often brutally honest with everyone.
He would ask Joy, but he knows that she doesn’t approve of their relationship. If he asked her, she’d deny it. It was obvious to see since every time they hugged or kissed she rolled her eyes. He yawned quickly and then put his quarters in the slots.
He barely felt anything when the guys slapped him on the back with happiness. He had paid for all of their games.

“Why are you telling me this?” Kriey asked. She pressed the phone to her ear harder and looked around to see people by the counter. “One moment please.” She smiled at them and the customer gazed around at the donuts. “Gregg, this phone is to fill orders with. You can stop by later and talk to me about it. I have customers.”“Wait!” Before Kriey hung up, she placed the phone back on her ear. “You take reservations for orders there?”
“Not reservations. We just make sure we have your coffee by the time you’re here. It’s for people on the go that need to go to work but lost track of time. It costs a little extra, but it’s only a dollar more.”
“I want to order something.”
“Good, what do you want?” she asked.
“A medium coffee.”
“Is that all?”
“Yeah. See you later Kriey.”
“See you later, ur… Gregg.” She hung up the phone and entered the other room with a smile on her face. She quickly apologized for the delay an got the orders ready.
She felt unsure of why Gregg wanted her honest opinion. She might not be the nicest person when it comes to these things, but she didn’t necessarily like it when her friends interrupted her job. That was the only money she was going to get for a while and she was planning on getting her apartment before the majority of the girls went to college.
