"Number 119! I hope you've learned your lesson on trying to escape!" All for One shouted at me, tossing me by my arm into her cell where I curled into a ball, shaking from the pain of my many bruises and cuts- injuries from his punishment of my escape attempt.

"Ye- y- yes, sir." I sobbed to the man, standing above me in a furious rage. I got up slightly and shuffled over to the cot, which I then hid under.

"No food for the next three days. Understood?  Or ELSE." The villian thundered, before whipping around and slamming the cell door shut. I finally gave in, crying myself to sleep. They were going to do more experiments on me, I just knew it. He wasn't satisfied by what pain he had already inflicted, he wanted that insane doctor to hurt me more.

When I awoke, I crawled out from under my cot and over to the toilet. I looked at my reflection in the water- a dirty, young girl with messy brown hair and- cat ears?

"What on-" I felt my head, certain I was hallucinating. But no-there they were, I could FEEL them, along with the new muscles. I tried moving one of my new ears. After a few minutes, I was able to figure out how to move them, and by that point my brain had registered them as part of my body. I could HEAR with them, I could hear the guards in the hallways, I could hear the breathing from the person in the cell next to mine. I also noticed that my nose was picking up more scents then usual. I could smell things from father down the hallways, and in greater detail. I could tell how FAR someone was from me just by their scent. Then, I felt something on my lower back. "Oh no. Please, no...." I looked. I had a tail. Just then, a guard opened my cell door.

"Lets go, 119. The good doctor is ready to see you." He said, dragging me up off the floor and over to the lab once more. He then set me on the table, and proceeded to strap me onto it.

I shivered, wishing That I wasn't so beat up already. Then.... Nothing happened. I looked around best as I could, but no one was coming or going. In fact, the only sounds I heard was my own breathing. What was going on?

"Hello?" I said softly, wondering when the torture and experiments were starting. When was the doctor going to come? Where was he? Didn't he enjoy doing this to me? I waited for what felt like forever, even drifting off to sleep at one point. When I awoke, I had no idea how much time had passed. Then the door opened. I braced myself for the new horrors, but instead a guard came in and let me off the table and led me back to my cell.

"Sorry kid, but the doctor got called on business. He'll see you when he comes back." The guard said, before closing me in again and locking the cell. Now what? I decided to take a risk.

"Hello? Can- can anyone next to me hear me?" I said, softly at first, the repeated a little louder. I waited, then a voice finally spoke.

"I can hear you, yes." This new voice said, coming from the right side. I went over to the wall and sat in front of it. "What's your name?"

"My name is Ochaco Uraraka. How long have you been here?" I asked the voice. "They've had me for about a month now."

The voice sighed. "I've been here...... I want to say........ 15 years or so? They continually run quirk tests on me. I think they're trying to make an entirely new quirk off of mine for that All for One dude. Or maybe they just like torturing me."

I gasped. "Do you- do you think I'll be here that long?" I asked him.

"Probably... not. The heroes are bound to show up some day, right? My two best friends are training- well, I say training, but they probably ARE heroes by now." The voice said reassuringly to me. But I could hear the strain in his voice, of one who had long stopped believing good things were coming, no matter how many times he said that they were. I had heard it from my dad. Then I perked up.

"Hey mister, what's your name? Because I forgot to ask it. when I first started talking to you." I said to the man next door, who let out a chuckle.

"My name, huh? My name is Oboro Shirakumo." He said.

*Time for Broccoli boi and Pomeranian again*

"Kacchan, stop hurting him! You've done enough!" Izuku cried out to his friend, who was standing in front of a kid covered with bruises.

"Come on, Izuku, let me at him! He was making fun of that Toga girl!" Bakugo shouted, trying to get at the boy, who steadied himself on a tree.

"She kissed another girl! That's disgusting! Plus, My mom has heard talk from her parents! Drinking blood from a dead bird? She's a freak! Just like you, you quirkless loser!" The boy shouted, wiping blood from his mouth.

"LET ME AT HIM!" Bakugo yelled, breaking free from Izuku's grip and chasing the other student with his explosions. Izuku tried chasing Bakugo, but couldn't catch up. The, he had an idea.

*A while later*

"Hey! Are you ok?" Izuku asked the girl named Himiko Toga. He'd finally found her, after searching the entire park.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine. Just.. a little hurt, that's all." She said, hurriedly wiping her mouth. He looked, and saw a dead mouse by her feet.

"You know, I do have to ask. Why do you do that? Drink the blood, I mean." Izuku asked, sitting down next to her.

"I- well, I do it because my quirk required blood to begin with, so I have these little cravings, and.... Mommy and Daddy yell at me a lot and say mean things, so I do it to help keep calm a little. It's like when some adults are tired, so they drink that adult juice we're not allowed to have? Only, the adults who don't become mean because of it, and only do it every so often." She said, looking back down at her feet in shame.

"What do you mean, your quirk needs it? What is you quirk, anyways?" He asked her. He wanted to help this girl, because she needed saving.

"My quirk is... my quirk is transformation. If I ingest the blood of someone, I can turn into them. I found this out after I accidentally bit my mom when she slapped me." She said, still looking down.

"Wait, seriously? That quirk is AWESOME!" Bakugo's voice chimed in, startling the both of them. "Imagine all the cool places you could get into with that quirk! No villian would be prepared for you!"

"You...you really think so?" She said, tears starting to form in her eyes.

"Sure! You'd be undetectable from physical from, so as long as you can play the part, you can fool anyone!" Izuku said, getting off the ground and offering his hand to her. She smiled up at him through the tears.

"Both of you... really think I can be a hero?" She asked through her sobs of joy, accepting his hand.

"Why not? I don't have a quirk at all, but Kacchan is helping me to train so that we can fight for the title of Number-1 Hero!" Izuku said, pulling her from the ground. "Does this make us friends?"

She smiled happily. "Yes! Yes, please, yes." She cried, wrapping both of then into a hug.
