Ashlee's POV
I hope people at least like me, I mean what if I make no friends? Then again who makes friends on the first day of schoool? But I could keep thinking that and never make a single friend. I'll end up the girl who eats in the bathroom stall... Ashlee, calm down you're second guessing yourself. People are going to love you.

Ashlee watches as the branches with few leaves are covered in snow, about to break from the crippling weight. She looks out the window as the snow gracefully falls leaving a blanket on the grass and road.

Ashlee's POV
What is this white stuff falling from the sky? This never happended in Florida. It looks so fluffy, I want to touch it...

Ashlee opens her window and gets a huge gust of wind slammed into her face. She quickly closes the window but leaves a little room for her hand to able to stick out of the window. She slowly puts her hand out the window and is met by dozens of snowflakes.

Ashlee's POV
Woah, it's so cold, but beautiful kind of like me. I wonder why people always complain about this.

Ashlee smiles as the window closes itself.

"You're at school," her limo driver says getting out of the car.

"Thanks..." Ashlee pauses squinting at the name tag on the limo driver's coat.

"Charles," Ashlee quickly reads with a smile.

Ashlee steps out of the limo and is met by a bunch off curious eyeballs. About twenty kids stand there, turning to each other trying to figure out who this girl is.

Ashlee begins to look at the new place she is going to call school. She takes in the two story high building with bricks that almost all match in color but every once in a while a dark color would pop out to the eye.

Ashlee's POV
Well it's not that bad, I mean the last school I was at was falling apart. And when I say falling apart I mean it, like in the middle of class the celing gave out and dropped on the teacher in the middle of the lesson. I don't remember him coming back after that thinking about it....

Ashlee colides with a sophmore who looks up at her with a confused but kind face. The sophmore quickly grabs her books and scurries away not saying a word, not even blinking.

Ashlee's POV
Well that was weird....

"Ashlee Jones to the main office, Ashlee Jones main office," a voice booms over the school's speakers.

"Oh great," Ashlee mumbles to herself after grabbing a map of the school from her bag.

"You must be Ashlee," a woman greets as Ashlee's foot is barely in the office.

"Yeah I am," Ashlee replies quietly.

"Okay, well this young man is going to show you around," the woman says and pushes a timid boy in front of Ashlee.

"H-hi I'm Xavier," the boy says with an outstretched hand.

"Hi, I'm Ashlee," she responds staring at his hand.

"Well I'm guessing you are new?" Xavier asks blushing and putting his hand back at his side.

"Yeah, I am,"  Ashlee replies taking in how he looks.

She stares at his baby blue eyes, his brown hair that lays flat, unstyled. Each time he talks she can't help but notice something shiny on his braces, which she assumes are braces.

"...first class?" Xavier finishes his question as Ashlee is done taking in his physical apperance.

"What?" Ashlee asks looking at him.

"I said w-what's your first class?" Xavier asks fumbling with his words slightly.

"I don't know how to read this stupid schedule," Ashlee says after staring at it for a few minutes.

"Let me see it," Xavier asks putting out his hand again.

Xavier skims the piece of paper for a few minutes as he takes out his as well.

"Just follow me," Xavier says with a smile returning her paper.

"Why do I have to follow you?" Ashlee asks a bit annoyed.

"Because we have the same schedule. Now come, we are already late enough," Xavier states beckoning Ashlee to come.

Xavier and Ashlee walk into the room as the math teacher blabs about how to draw a circle with a compass.

"What was so important that you were late to my class?" the teacher asks raising an eyebrow.

"S-she's new. I'm s-showing her around," Xavier says stuttering as a few kids in the class let out a bunch of giggles.

"Yeah, he was in the office when I was called down," Ashlee says walking into the room taking a seat in the empty back of the classroom.

"You must be Ashlee," the teacher says smiling.

"Yeah, that's my name," Ashlee says blushing and looking down.

"You can sit up here if you want," the teacher suggests pointing to a seat in the second row.

"Nah, I'm good," Ashlee responds as her face heats up.

"Okay, class back to drawing circles," the teacher says clapping his hands together and rubbing them slightly.

Ashlee's POV
Oh yay, circles. What are we in kindergarten?"

"Ashlee, wait!" Xavier yells grabbing his books and begins to run over to her.

You know how in the movies people fall in slow motion and have a funny looking face while doing it? Well Xavier had the funny face but it did not happen in slow motion. Before he could even catch himself he fell, not completly on his face but close enough.. Only a mere three seconds five kids erupt with laughter. Xavier glances down at his feet to see why he had tripped; his untied shoe.

"Xavier," Ashlee mumbles shaking her head walking over to him.

"S-sorry," Xavier mumbles cowaring slightly.

"You need to be more careful," Ashlee says sympathetically picking up his Earth Science textbook.

"I know," Xavier mumbles looking down at the ground.

"It's alright," Ashlee replies with a smile.

"Now it's lunch time," Xavier says the corners of his mouth rising.

"I'm going to head to my locker. But you can go to the cafeteria with out me, I know where I'm going," Ashlee says heading to her locker.

"You sure?" Xavier yells halfway down the hallway.

"Yeah I'm sure!" Ashlee yells back.

"Okay," Xavier says and starts to run down the stairs.

Ashlee quickly walks into the bathroom and takes a look at herself in the mirror; her blue eyes staring at herself intensely.

Ashlee's POV
Time for lunch..... you'll be okay, you can get through this.
