Cassondra's POV
Cedric is gone there is no denying it. How I made it through the dedicated speech Dumbledore made at the end of year I'll never know. I gave Fleur a bone crushing hug.
" I'm so sorry Cassy. I love you so much write me if you need anything promise?" Fleur told me in French." Of course thank you. I love you too. I don't know what I would have done if it would have been you." I said in French.
" Don't think like that. It didn't happen so don't think about it." Fleur said.
Madam Maxine called Fleur to the carriages. I bent down and gave Gabrielle a hug." Bye my sweet girl. Have an amazing summer okay." I told the small girl.
" I will. Bye Cassy." Gabrielle said.
I waved to both of them as they walked to the carriages. Draco came over to me and put an arm around me.
" Come on let's go home." Draco said.
I just nodded. Me, Draco, Aylen and Blaise boarded the train.~ time skip to when they arrive at the manor ~
I walked in ready to see Aunt Cissy. Usually she picked us up but she sent a car for us. I pushed open the big doors.
" Cissy!" I said running towards her.
I was about to hug her when a figure appeared behind her." Hello daughter." Voldemort said.
" Father. Your here." I said.
" Of course. I finally gained all my power back and the first thing I needed to do was see my little girl." Voldemort said.
" How considerate." I said." Narcissa, take your boy and leave me and my daughter alone." Voldemort ordered.
" Of course my lord." Cissy said grabbing Draco's hand and leading him to the kitchen and closing the door." I'm disappointed in you my dear." Voldemort said.
" Really? Enlighten me." I said.
" You fell in love. With a Hufflepuff non the less." He said. " Your just like your pathetic aunt Andromeda throwing away your future for a Hufflepuff."Funny he would compare me to Andromeda when I'm wearing one of her dresses. I didn't say anything I just looked at him.
" Love is weakness my girl." He said angrily.
" So that's why you killed him? To get rid of my weakness?" I asked angrily.
" Precisely. You need to learn to sort out your priorities. You let a boy interfere with your mission." Voldemort said." I'm not going to apologize for my feelings." I said.
" Of course your not. Cause even when you make stupid decisions your still my daughter. We both are unapologetic and cruel. But this behavior needs to punished." Voldemort said.
" Isn't killing my boyfriend punishment enough. If you wanted to hurt me you succeeded. I'm hurt!" I shouted." Oh my dear. There are so many other kinds of pain. Worse then a broken heart." Voldemort said.
" Ha! Try me." I said challenging him.
In hindsight I probably shouldn't have said that.
He lifted his wand at me.
" Crucio." He said.I fell to the floor screaming at the unbearable pain I felt shooting through out my body. I don't know how long it went on for but finally it ended.
" Wormtail!" Voldemort shouted.
Peter came wobbling in.
" Yes my lord." Peter said.
" Take my daughter to her new room." Voldemort said.
" Ooo new room? Is it all pretty and pink?" I asked sarcastically. They could break my bones but not my sense of humor. Voldemort obviously didn't like this cause he slapped me hard across the face. I smiled and started laughing.
" I guess that's a no." I said as Peter grabbed me and dragged me to the dungeons. He threw me down the stairs. I landed on the cold stone floor. I tried using my purple magic but it wouldn't work I was too weak from being tortured. I just closed my eyes and prayed it would all be over tomorrow. Spoiler alert it wasn't.
3rd person POV
Cassondra spent the summer in the dungeons of Malfoy Manor. Every day she was meet with a new death eater who would torture her for hours on end. Soon she couldn't even scream, it was impossible. Her throat was raw. She had lost so much weight she was basically a stick.
Half way through the summer both her father and the death eaters had gotten annoyed of the girls sarcastic comments. So the solution, sewing her lips together. The only time the threads were cut were once a week for her to eat.
Voldemort didn't want to kill his daughter, on the contrary he wanted his daughter to rule side by side with him. She simply just needed to be taught a lesson. It was all apart of Voldemort's plan to get rid of last little tad of goodness, hope, light that his daughter still possessed.
Finally it was time to go back to Hogwarts. Cassondra stood on the platform with her cousin and aunt. She wore a long sleeve white shirt with a black dress over it. She had her thigh high boots on. Cassondra had been let out of the dungeons two days prior to this day and she has yet to speak. She didn't want to. She was ashamed of herself. She was weak. Her lips were still swollen from being sewn together.
This year Cassondra was going to focus on one thing only. That thing was her mission her father has given to her. The mission was the same as last year's, keep Draco safe at all cost. Cassondra boarded the train without saying goodbye to her aunt.
Narcissa was worried about her niece. She was broken and there was nothing Narcissa could do about it. The little girl she swore to protect had just been tortured physically, emotionally and mentally and in Narcissa's own home. Cassondra had been tortured in her own home the place she should feel safe at no matter what.
" Draco. Watch out for Cassy this year." Narcissa told her son.
" Of course. Do you think she will come back? To her old self I mean." Draco asked his mother.Draco had missed his cousins fake out jokes, her sarcastic comments, and the little jabs they took at each other. Hell he even missed her talk about dragons, any magical creature for that matter.
" I don't know sweetie. All we can do is help her bounce back she had been something truly traumatic." Narcissa said.
Draco just nodded and hugged his mother goodbye and headed to the train. Everything was so messed up. The only thing that was clear was this was going to be a long hard year at Hogwarts.
