I didn't mind school, it wasn't that bad. I mean I didn't like the lessons but I had my best friends there with me. School is a place where I can be a regular 17 year old. No Mafia stuff, no one out to kill me.
Someone could easily come kill me in school, but I feel as though they wouldn't do it in an open space where there is hundreds of kids.
As I get out of last period, which was Phycology. I text Nina who's my best friend. I had a small group of friends but Nina's the one I was closest to.

Tessa - Hey, where are you?
Nina - Coming out of chem. Where are you at?
Tessa - At my locker, I'm still driving you home yeah ?
Nina - yeah if that's alright, I'm coming now
Tessa - yeah that's fine see you in a minute
It was Friday, which means I usually wear something nice to school so I can go out afterwards. Brandon usually takes me on a date every Friday night.

Brandon's my boyfriend, me and him have been dating for almost a year. He's sweet yes, but sometimes we have our fall outs. He plays football for the schools team and wants to continue that career when he goes to college.

Nina has bright blonde hair and is really pretty. We both understand each other and get along well. She's the blonde to my brunette and I'm the brunette to her blonde.
"Ready to go" , Nina says as she
"yeah hold on, let me go talk to Brandon first", I reply and make my way over to Brandon who is standing by his locker talking to his friends.

"Hey Tessa", he says as I stand on my tip toes to give him a kiss.
"Hey , what are we doing tonight?" I ask
"We are going to Cole's party" he says
"Oh are we?" I ask with an uninterested tone.
"Yeah, well, all my friends are gonna be there, all your friends are gonna be there. I think we should go." , he explains to me trying to persuade me to go.
"sure okay", I say while sighing
"okay, I'll pick you up at 9" , he begins talking to his friends again
"yep", I say while spinning around to walk back to Nina
Me and Brandon's relationship is good but strange. We've had disagreements on things but he always apologises, tells me I'm right and that he's wrong, then everything goes back to normal.
We have also been dating for a year and I've never said the L word. He said it once but I didn't say it back. I felt bad but I've just never been able to say it.
"you ready now?" Nina asks while linking arms with me.
"yes, are you going to Cole's party tonight?" I ask her hoping that she will be there
"yeah, are you coming?", she reply's
"I guess so" I say and we exit the school.
As me and Nina get into my car. We buckle ourselves in and I start the engine.
While I'm driving, Nina turns on the radio. We are listening to Harry styles obviously. Me and Nina are obsessed. We were listening to Kiwi.
As we drove to Nina's house she hugged me and got out of the car.
"see you tonight", she says while shutting the door.
"yep see you later" I shout out my window.
Then I exit her drive and begin the 5 minute journey to my house.
