The truth

"Jordan" jack says in a tone that as if he's asking him to 'carry on'

I look at Jordan and He's glaring at Jack. "ignore him Tessa he's drunk"

"she needs to know the truth Jordan" jack says while Jordan looks at the floor

"would someone tell me what the fuck is going on here" I say

"are you gonna tell her or should I" Jack says

Jordan keeps his angered glare on jacks bloody face "jack I swear it fucking god"

"Jordan tell me" I say with a louder tone.

"can we go to another room please?"
I nod and walk into an empty room.

Followed by Jordan and Jack close behind.

Jordan notices that Jacks following behind us "back off"

"oh no. I'm coming to make sure you don't leave out any details" he says smugly

Once we make it into the room Jordan shuts the door and I stare at him "Jordan just tell me what's going on"

"tell her Jordan" Jack says

Jordan sighs "Fine"

I look at him as if to say 'continue'

"I haven't been completely honest with you Tessa" he says with his head hung low in shame.

"What do you mean?" I say with more anger in my voice.

"I haven't told you much about who I am" he says

"okay would you just get to the fucking point" I blurt out.

"the only reason i became your body guard is because-" He paused and look at the floor

"because ?" I say asking him to finish.

"he works for Your dads enemy's" jack says

I look at jack them back to Jordan "is that true?" I ask

"yes." He says

"oh my god" I say in shock

Jordan looks guilty "Tessa please"

"tell her everything Jordan" jack says

"Jack shut the fuck up" Jordan shouts making me jump.

"NO! TELL ME EVERYTHING. From the beginning" I say

Jordan sighs "I started working for your dad to try and get information from his side. Then that one day he asked me to become your body guard. My boss said it was a good idea"

"why? Why was that a good idea?" I snap

"So they could kidnap you and use you to get to your dad", jack buts in

"It all started at Cole's party. I told my dad that you were going to be there so he sent me and another guy there to kidnap you." He says

"You drugged me?" I ask

"No it wasn't me who drugged you. I was there the whole time. I saw the fight between your asshole of an ex and that boy and then I saw him hit you. I felt bad. I thought you've already been punched by your boyfriend it might be too much for you to be kidnapped aswell in the same night" he says

"oh thank you for thinking of me and being so generous" I say sarcastically

"I saw the guy put the stuff in your drink and he then carried you to the car. I told him to let you go and he said no. So the only thing I could do was shoot him. Then I took you back to your house" , he says

"go on" I say angrily

"then I stared to like you we became closer. I kept trying to put off the kidnapping un till later and later. Then that day when you took a shower I rushed into your bathroom because i just had a phone call from my boss saying that if I wasn't going to give you to them, they'd fine their own way to take you", he says

"who's your boss?" I ask

"my father" he replies

"oh my god" I laugh over how stupid I've been

" then that day when your house got broken into. The symbol they left on your pillow. It was a symbol my father used. It meant that I was banned from the Mafia. He disowned me from wanting to protect you. But I had to, I felt something for you Tessa. You were that one thing missing from my life. That's why I slept in your room that night after we watched the film. To make sure you were safe. Then In the morning I woke up and was shocked that I slept. That was the first night that I had slept through properly for im 12 years and it was because you were with me" he says

I laugh at him for sounding so stupid.

"Then at the ball. I needed to protect you there. When the gunshots went off I knew it was men that worked for my dad. They were coming for you, they hated me for leaving them for you and they still wanted to kidnap you. That's why I left you to go and find them and kill them first. While I was talking to my brothers I didn't relate that two guys had already gotten inside. Then I heard a gunshot go off from inside. Before I ran in my dad said 'they weren't meant to shoot her just kidnap her'. Then I saw you with blood spreading on your stomach. I was afraid of loosing you"
He takes a breath
"Then in the hospital I stayed with you the whole time because I knew they wouldn't hesitate to come there. I also felt guilty for not protecting you better enough", he says

"the fire. Where were you when that happened because you weren't in the house?" I asked

"my brothers caused the fire. They asked me to come and talk to them outside. So while I did they sent two men into your house. Those two men set off a fire downstairs as a distraction from the house so they could take you"

"Jesus Christ! Why are they so obsessed with kidnapping me?" I ask

"Your dad and his men have messed with a lot of people Tessa. You're the perfect thing to make him give them whatever they want because he loves you", jack says from behind me.

"then what happened?"I asked
