Apparently, one cannot be productive within the presence of your friend. Jeongguk and Taehyung had a long list of things that they would do when the former arrived at the latter's house, but they only ended up playing games in Taehyung's XBOX. Very productive.

Jeongguk internally laughs at the thought. His hands open the door to their apartment, excited to tell his roommate what had happened. "Hi, ugly, I'm home--"

He stops on his tracks. The place was covered with darkness, the only source of light is coming from the television. No sight of Jimin anywhere, it seems, the kitchen table is clean, the dishes were washed... and Lisa.

Lisa's curled up on the couch, eyes glued to whatever trash is playing on the TV. She doesn't even notice him as he speed walks towards her, panicking.

She's rarely like this, he knows. In their little group of friends back in high school, she's always been a ball of sunshine and energy that her happiness was grossly infectious. When Lisa gets sad, however, that means something is wrong.

"Hey, hey," Jeongguk murmurs gently, sitting next to her, "what happened? Are you okay?"

Slowly, she looks at him. There's an emotion in her eyes that he couldn't recognise, but it isn't a good one, for sure. With the way her hands are balled up into fists and her lower lip jutting out, she's definitely not okay.

He feels stupid for asking.

She sighs. An I don't know falls from her mouth and she curls up even tighter.

His inner conscience was telling him to do something, anything just so Lalisa could go back to her normal self again. So, despite the nervousness in his stomach, he asks, "Something happened with Jimin?"

Her expression shifts to a frown before going blank once more.

That means yes. He blinks, "Did he... did he hurt you?"

"No," she finally replies, sending a wave of relief over him. "I don't want to talk about it though... I just don't... I don't know."

Even if he has a lot of questions, he forces that aside and licks his lips. "Anything I can do to help?"

Lalisa looks at him, finally looks at him, and lets out the smallest smile that had his heart hurting.

It takes him by surprise when she suddenly pulls him to a hug, placing her head in his chest. "Just stay with me."

The new position makes him feel... weird. Not a bad kind of weird though, but more like... comfortable? "Okay," he manages to tell her, "okay."

He adjusts their position, leaning his back on the couch and Lisa automatically curls herself around him. Jeongguk ignores the fast beating of his chest and focuses on his roommate instead, wondering what made her act like this.

"Lis," he whispers after a few seconds, "can I... can I do this?" He makes a gesture near her arms and she only hums in response. Smiling softly, he carefully rubs circles on her arms, keeping his breathing slow so she could fully relax in his chest.

It isn't until later that he realizes that Lalisa's breathing has evened out and that she's almost fully laying on him. Dammit.

"Why did you have to fall asleep on me, you idiot," Jeongguk mutters, staring down at her sleeping form.

You know how in books they describe a sleeping person's face as "angelic" and "peaceful" and all the other bullshit they spew out? Well, Jeongguk thinks otherwise, because damn, Lalisa did not look attractive as of the moment.

Her mouth is parted open, drool falling from the one corner and seeping into his shirt. He doesn't mind though, but he's really debating on whether throwing her off the couch or just let her stay there.

The longer he stares at her, though, the more he notices the slight flutter of her eye lashes, the puff of her cheeks, how her eyelids move whenever she's startled, and how a strand of hair falls on her face whenever she moves.

Okay... maybe Lalisa is a tiiiiiiny bit angelic. Whatever.

They stay like this for a while, and Jeongguk makes a mental note about murdering Park Jimin if he finds out he did something to her before falling asleep completely.
