Entry Four
Meliodas

We made sure to make it the biggest sixth birthday anyone has ever had. Some happiness before I get down to the real work.

Elizabeth you should have seen his face when he saw the sky light up with fireworks King and Ban had made special for him.

And the cake?

Delicious.

But then my night made a turn for the worst..

"TRISTAN!" Meliodas yelled as loudly as he could. "LANCE!" Ban did the same alongside him as they combed the forest for their boys.

"Cap'n I'm not gonna lie this was probably Lance's idea" he groaned loudly, checking for tracks wherever he could.

"Really?" Mel says sarcastically with a wide grin plastered on his face. "Like father like son" Ban laughed in return.

Meanwhile..

"LANCE" Tristan yelled as a tall demon wrapped his large, cold and clammy hands around the little boys neck.

"He isn't our priorty" another man about a foot shorter, stated in a matter-of-factly manner.

"The boss asked for us to capture him but this one is a bonus. Little kid's got too much fight in him to let him go free. Besides, wouldn't want someone coming back to find us since he saw our faces" the man responded in a more dominating tone, his eyes were as dark as the shadow beginning to circle them.

"Um. What's all this shit?" A different member of their demon group realized the cloud like darkness thickening quickly.

"Feels like miasma" the second goon replies.

"Let him go."

"Hmm? No can do. You both are coming with me." As the leader of their group reaches for the angered Tristan, his sight faltered.

"Fuck! I can't see anything!"

The lot of them complained. Each of them having their sight stolen from them. "You hurt my bestfriend"

Everyone's head turns to an illuminated little boy. The only thing they could see now was his little self as the only light closing in on the man who's choking Lance.

Tristan moved at the speed of light swiftly within the shadows his mind had created for him. His small, balled up fists connecting to each critical point of their bodies quicker than they could react.

The bad man released his friend unwillingly and once Tristan saw his opening he grabbed Lance and ran as fast as he could back towards where he knew his father was instinctively.

But once his body knew he was safe, the powers he possessed deactivated and the little boy could no longer run anymore.

His body fell hard to the ground, his mind now unconscious with a hand still holding onto his bestfriend. As long as he was safe Tristan knew he no longer needed to fight.
