The redhead boy and Lip walk in. "Your Ian."
"Yeah, I'm Ian." He smiles when I recognize him. "You dated my best friend." I hear Lip let out a sigh. "Mickey introduced us," I tell him. "Do you remember?" I think I do? "I was running to Mickeys and when we got inside you came over. I hid in the bathroom." My brain slows down, I can feel the memories slip. "Mickey let you in and he said that-" I pause. "He said-" I watch as Lip and Ian's faces fall. "He asked about you last time I saw him. I don't remember what I said." I tell Ian. "Mickey introduced you as his friend I think?" I tell him, looping back to my original thought. "You invited me over to hide from the cops and you told Mickey I was your sister while I was using the bathroom."
"You knew the whole time? Before Fiona talked to you?"
"I think I did know." I look at Ian. "What am I missing, from then to now?" Lip goes to stop him but is too slow. "Svetlana? Do you remember her and Yevgeny?" M face twists in disgust. "The whore and her fuck child?" I ask. "Yeah, The whore." Lip adds. All three of us laugh. "Speaking of baby. Wheres Franny?" I ask them. "You remember Franny? How about Debbie?" I scratch my head. "Debbie? Is she the red-haired girl?" Lip smiles at me. "Yeah, that's Debbs."

Before I can ask if Debbs can come in a teenage boy comes in. "Wanna go steal a car or two?" He asks me. Everyone else looks shocked. "What, I'm trying to rejog her memory. She uses to steal cars." I laugh. "Maybe after Carl." His eyes go wide. "Maybe after? So not a no, Sweet." I laugh.

"Alright, She needs sleep." A nurse says when she comes into my room. "Everyone out." I look at the woman and pout. "I didn't get to see Debbie, Franny, or..." I pause trying to think. "Or Fiona!" The woman smiles. "Getting your memory back I see." I smile back. "Names and faces, I still don't remember what I hit my head-on." She shrugs. "We can talk later, for now, you need sleep." I agree and lay down. But I don't fall asleep. I stare up at the sky. I should go get a better view. I tell myself as I get up. I walk right out, no one stops me. I'm in actual clothes, hiding my medical bracelet, and I'm walking calmly.

I push open the hospital doors and breath in the shitty Chicago air. It was beautiful out. The lights around this area ever stopped amazing me. It was a nice part of town. I'm guessing I was taken to the non-ghetto ass hospital. I look back inside and see stairs leading up marked with an H for Helicopter. I climb the stairs and see a key bad. I look at it, and then the door. I push the door open and it opens. Alarms go off on top of the door. Fuck. I keep walking. I walk to the middle of the helicopter pad and look around. I can see the bridge and the moon, and a few stars hiding in the glow of the city light. It's amazing, truly amazing.

"Amanda, It's time to go inside." I hear a voice tell me. "I need air. I like hights." I tell the voice. "Okay, we can find a safer spot than up here." I groan. "You don't get it. I don't care about safety, I like it up here." I hear footsteps walking closer to me. "Security is on its way up." She informs me. "Good for them." I walk closer to the edge and further from her. "How did I hit my head?" I ponder out loud.

I was up on the building, me and Mickey's old hideout. I try thinking back. The sirens blare and I hear people yelling. I look at the building I'm currently at. So THAT'S why they don't want me up here. "I tried jumping? Hit my head." I yell back.  My eyes tear up. I was so fucking stupid for thinking I could live off the meds."Im fine now." I yell, looking over at the nurse. "Im just enjoying the vewi." I raise my hands above my head and step back, showing her I'm not armed and not jumping. "Howd I hit my head?" I pause. "I didn't fall, Id be dead if I hit it when I fell..."
"Your EMT brother was there. He had to push you, you hit your head on the pavement." I don't have an EMT brother? Do I? "Which brother?" I ask her. She grabs my arm and pulls me back inside. "It was Ian."
"Carrot hair?" I ask, his name slightly fuzzy in my brain. "Yeah, carrot head." I nod. "He passed his EMT test!" I smile. "I knew that." I murmer. "His boyfriend just cheated on him, apparently with a woman." I try remembering the last conversation I had with him. "When can I go home? I remember everything." I tell her. "No you don't remember everything. You need to spend the night." She walks me back to my room. "Are you actually going to sleep now?" I nod. "Yeah. Ill stop leaving." I close my eyes and roll over to face the window, facing the moon.
