I knew Lilly's birthday was Friday and Connor was agitated, everything and everyone was pissing him off, he has taken this year really badly. It was like 3 in the afternoon and I had kinda given up on work, I was thinking of asking Connor if he wanted to head to the gym and hit somethings when I received an email from an email I didn't recognise.
Mason,
I'm happy for the first time in 4 years, I'm truly happy and loved.
Please can you get everyone to stop contacting me, I won't be coming back.
Lilly
I was out my chair and running out the pack house, it hadn't even occurred to mindlink Connor.
" Connor, Connor, god damn it Connor" I boomed across the training ground, he looked up
"It's Lilly" I shouted and ran back into my office him following behind.
" I've just got this email and there's a picture attached, I haven't opened it...yet"
I looked at Connor for the ok, " open it then"
It was a montage of small pictures of her travels with friends I'm guessing, with a big photo of her and a guy touching foreheads smiling lovely at each other in the middle.
" She looks so happy" Connor said in a monotone voice
Connor left to go and speak to his parents and let them know about Lilly.

I am truly sorry, for how I treated you, I should have stood up to my father, I can't take back what I did and it will be on my shoulders for the rest of my life.
I am glad you are happy and loved.
I can't speak for your parents but you brother has been destroyed by your disappearance, I showed him this email and I think he is going to email you.
I will not contact you again.
Again I am sorry and good luck with the rest of your life.
