Ryders POV
It's been a week since Lilly's birthday and all of Lilly's friends have accepted my invite to join my pack, Jason and Levi are really good hunters so they have joined that team, Opal has amazing skills as a tracker. Jasmine and Kerry wanted to open up a bakery in town so that's what they are working on, Lilly is so happy to see she finally has a family that love her, I can see she does really miss Connor maybe he can visit when she is ready. I still haven't given her, her birthday present I'm really nervous about it but tonight is the night.
I told her to dress up and meet me at the car, she look absolutely stunning in a dark red dress her hair is down with light curls at the bottom, I can't believe how lucky I am. I put a blind fold on her, she wasn't happy about it, we are now driving round in circles to confuse her I pulled back onto the drive, I helped her out the car and helped her to the back garden, I took her blind fold off,
Her face was a picture, " Wow this is amazing" I have decorated our garden with fair lights and candles with a table in the centre with soft music playing, " can I take you to our table" we sat down holding hands across the table, she was still looking around the garden, " this is the most romantic thing anyone has ever done, thank you baby" as she lent across the table and kissed me " Happy Birthday", dinner was lovely, our conversation flowed and we were happily giggling as we swayed to the music.
" Angel, I have one more present, I know we haven't know each other very long and that our mate instincts take hold very quickly but I can't imagine ever leaving your side or spending a day without you, I love you to the moon and beyond and I will love you with every breath I take, will you marry me?" I said as I got down on one knee and opened the box.
She didn't say anything, she had her hands over her mouth looking at the ring then at me, then she nodded her head and started crying " Yes, yes"
Lilly's POV
I'm the happiest person right now, I'm jumping up and down, the ring is beautiful. This is meant to be when I go running to my mum to show her the ring but that's not going to happen.
