"Pleasssssse Nia Nia." "I know it's last minute, but I promise it'll be fun." Cam clings onto her friends arm pulling out her puppy eyes.
"Cammy last time we went to the club you got dead drunk and were super annoying to take care of." Ania says ignoring the pleas of the girl next to her while continuing to read her book. "I knowwww but I promise not to drink too much this time." Cam whines. "That's what you said last time." Ania calmly cuts back. "Boo Nia, don't focus on previous actions." "C'mon please please please please, I wanna go out." Cam says flopping dramatically over Ania's book. "Fine." Ania sighs "Where are we going?" Ania gets up to go change and put on makeup. "Yay yay yay, there's a new club that opened like a month ago, we should go check it out." Cam says jumping around the room happily. Ania laughs at her friends excitement and fondly rolls her eyes. When the girls walk into the club they can immediately see that it was a good decision. The club was packed and the music was thumping. "Woah this looks great!" Cam says happily looking around eagerly. "Yeah you're right!" Ania says with a grin. Cam looks over at her friend and smugly smirks. "See I told you it was gonna be fun!" "Yeah yeah whatever let's go dance." Ania says pulling Cam towards the pulsing mass of people.
"Oh my gosh I'm so thirsty let's take a break." Ania says after a lot of songs passed. Cam looks over at her confused. "Whaa?" "Already?" "No let's keep going!!" Cam says with endless energy. Ania mock glares at her energetic friend. "Well I for one am taking a break, don't come crying to me when your legs fall out in exhaustion." Ania pushes her way to the bar. As she slides onto a chair by the counter she accidentally bumps into someone. "Oops sorry." Ania says keeping her head down and getting ready to move on when she hears a deep voice above her head. "Oh?" "I thought something like this only happened in movies." Ania looks up confused and then is momentarily shocked as she took in the strangers appearance. The first thing she noticed was he's tall the second thing was his eyes, they were a grayish-yellow and incredibly cat like in their intensity. Ania shakes herself from her surprise to ask "huh?". The man smirks "you know the whole cliche, about a gorgeous woman running into a handsome stranger at the club..." The man's voice was incredibly intoxicating to hear, his tone seemed to stay in a casual almost lazy tone, yet was still engaging. Working past the blush that traveled to her cheeks at the compliment she quickly shot back "So are you really calling yourself handsome?" Ania says raising her eyebrow. "What you don't agree?" The man says with a gleam in his eyes. Ania's lips twitch into an almost smile and simply shrugs. "C'mon let me buy you a drink, then you can tell me all about your apparently high standards." The man says with a lazy (always) smile. Ania glances back at the crowd but can't see Cam in the crowd. Aw well she'll have to find me later. With that she takes the offered arm of the man and he kindly escorts her to one of the VIP tables near the back of the club.
Cam giggles as her friend walks away annoyed. Well it's not my fault I can't stop dancing once I've started. I'll just find her later. Deciding to ignore everyone else around her, Cam immerses herself in the music and the energy. She doesn't know how long she dances for but when she finally zones back in she realizes that she's been dancing with someone the whole time. The guy in front of her sees her surprised look and laughs good naturedly. "Well well welcome back." The guy winks. "Oh..." "I didn't know you were here." Cam says shyly. Ugh how did I not notice this rando the entire time. How embarrassing. Wait but he is kinda cute... Cam looks the guy up and down before meeting his gaze again. The man notices her inspection and continues to smile. "You looked like you were having so much fun, I didn't wanna interrupt." "But considering it looks like you're done why don't we take a break?" The guy asks with a boyish smile. "Uhhh" I don't really wanna go off with a stranger even if he's cute. Goddamn where did Nia go. Cam's eyes flick towards the bar counter hoping to find any trace of her friend but to no success. Shit. Her unintentional partner hides his laugh behind his arm seeing the girl's face screw up in annoyance. "Hey, my name's Sugawara and I promise I'm not trying to drug you." "I'd just like to buy a drink for the pretty girl with whom I shared a wonderful dance with." The guy- Sugawara says with a charming bow (well as charming as it could be still surrounded by a pack of gyrating people.) Ha I wonder if that line has ever worked for him. Cam thinks to herself, however completely contrary to her thoughts she smiles at the gu- Sugawara and nods. "Okay, I'll trust you." Trust my ass, just wait till I find Nia who also has my purse and I'll pepper spray the hell out of you, you annoying rando. "I'm Carrie by the way." Cam says still smiling sweetly. The two make their way over to the bar in companionable silence.
