"So how was it? Did he give you any trouble?" Thor asked Y/N at dinner. It had been the first time they had seen each other since he had dropped her off at Lokis door.
"It was fine. He fixed it then told me not to do anything stupid for a couple weeks." Y/N said as she grabbed a bread roll for the centre of the table.
"That'll be a challenge." Thor chuckled whilst biting into a turkey leg. Just then Loki walked in and took a seat at the corner of the grand table. No one seemed to notice him enter apart from Y/N. She gave him a small smile which he returned. She watched Loki as he ate in silence. No one spoke to him or even acknowledged him.

"Earth to Y/N!" Thor shouted as he elbowed her in the ribs. Tearing her eyes away from the man in the corner she looked at her friend who seemed to be waiting for something.
"Sorry what were you saying?"
For the rest of the night Y/N had to listen to Thor brag about him defeating creatures from different realms. She'd heard the stories so many times before that she could tell the stories in her sleep. Every now and then she would agree or laugh when everyone else laughed, not really listening. After what seemed like forever the meal ended and everyone bid there good night's.

While walking out the dining hall Y/N heard a voice behind her.
"God you looked miserable in there." Turing around she saw Loki.
"What?"
"I mean how can you stand them? All they do is just brag about all the amazing things they've done." He said leaning up against the door frame.
"You know your talking about your brother and your friends right?" Y/N said frowning.
"He isn't my brother and they aren't my friends!" He said defiantly. Rolling her eyes, Y/N crossed her arms and leaned up against the opposite wall.
"Just because you and Thor aren't blood relatives doesn't mean you aren't brothers. You grew up together and i know for a fact that deep down you know that it doesn't matter." Y/N said glaring at the prince.
"You think you have all the answers don't you?" Loki said grimly looking down at his overly polished shoes.
"Pretty much yeah." Y/N liked annoying the prince. "But at least I'm not an arrogant, cocky want to be loner who spends his time hiding in his room and pushing people away." She wanted to see how far she could push him until he snapped.
"Being arrogant and cocky is better then being a try hard warrior that mopes after someone that has no interest in them what so ever." He hisses.
"I have no idea what your talking about." Y/N says through gritted teeth. He had hit a nerve and she didn't like it.
"Oh I'm sure you do. You follow Thor around like a lost little puppy always nipping at his heels." "God how hasn't he gotten sick of you yet." He chuckled staring her straight in the eyes.
"Shut up."
"Oh. Have I pushed the wrong buttons?" He smirked. "I mean how haven't you taken the hint yet?" He took slow steps forward towards her. "Sorry honey but he's not interested. He never will be." By now they were almost nose to nose. Y/Ns breathing stopped, her heart was beating so fast that she felt as though he could hear it.

Smirking Loki turned away leaving Y/N against the wall out of breath and confused. She slid down the wall and held her head in her hands.
