A Japan Haul(15)

Third Person POV

Today is the day that Midoriya has uploaded his Japan haul. The entire 1-A class yes, including Bakugo is in the living room with his video loaded up on the TV. "Before we start, your bet and where you think he went." Mina said while holding out a box.

Class 1-A thought it would be fun to bet on where their favorite youtuber went. A lot of them said Hawaii, some said Korea, very few said another state but, no one said Japan. Bakugo was going to but, remembered Midoriya's words. When he said he went to Japan, how would he explain it?

Once Mina collected all the bets and added hers, they started the video. GreenBlade's normal intro played.

"Hey guys! Welcome to the haul of my winter break trip!" he said in Japanese. "Now, you might have thought I was going to put where I went in the title but I wanted to keep it a mystery." Some whimsical music played. "Now, before I say where I went I'm going to show something that has been in the works for a couple of months." He pulls out a slightly different version of the sticker that Bakugo had. It's been a month since Midoriya left and during that time, Bakugo helped fine tune the sticker because in his words, "If your gonna drop merch. I'm going to make it look fucking awesome." The sticker now has a black outline and the letters "GB" are in red. Everyone gasped and was excited that he was dropping merch.

"Yes, I'm dropping merch but it will only be this sticker for right now. The link is in the description and is up for sale for $5.00. If this goes over well, more merch is a possibility in the future." More whimsical music played. "Now, to reveal where I went. It was my first trip from the U.S so, naturally I went back home to Japan!" Mina paused the video. "He was here!?" she exclaimed.

Midoriya continued. "Today is obviously a haul so I'm going to start with the food. I have photos of my favorite dish, katsudon! Some sweets that I brought back were some pocky that you can only find in Japan, mochi puffs, Hokkaido cream bread, Matcha chocolate stick cake, and red snapper crackers." As he talked about each food item, he held it up the the camera. "I also got some trinkets to bring even more of home here in the states. Like, a chime doll and a few gunpla models that are only in Japan. The next thing I want to talk about are the places I visited. I got to go back to the Tokyo Tower, Disneyland, Universal Studios, Legoland, and all the fun touristy places you would go on a trip to Japan. If you guys want me to go more in depth about those places the leave a comment down below!"

Before class 1-A knew it, the video was over. "I can't believe he came back." Kaminari said astonished. "Why? You think he's better than me?" Shinso said as he slid his arm around Kaminari. "No, no 'toshi! I love only you and you know that." Kaminari said as he frantically waved his arms around. Shinso smiled and kissed the top of his head. "It makes sense though, that he would come back." Iida said. "Why would he come back though?" Kirishima asked. "Tch, you extras are dumb. He would come back because it is where he came from. Who the fuck wouldn't come back to the place they were born?" Bakugo said while leaning on the wall next to the elevators. Everyone nodded in agreement as Kirishima rubbed the back of his head shyly.

As Bakugo looked around the room he saw the couples together. Uraraka and Tsu, Todoroki and Momo, and Kaminari and Shinso. He somewhat felt lonely, he sighed and headed up to his room. He knew why he felt lonely, he knew who made him feel like this, he knew he wanted to see him again.

Once he got into his room, he picked up a photo of him and Midoriya when they were younger and put it on his desk. He laid down on his bed and put an arm over is eyes. "Why the fuck did I decide to be a fucking asshole to him? We wouldn't be this distant if I just let that slide." He took his arm off is eyes and took his phone out of his pocket.

Deku

Bakugo: Everyone loved the video.

He put his phone on his night stand and laid back down in bed. He closed his eyes and thought about when he went to see Mina a few nights ago.

"Now, why did you want to see me?" Mina asked as Bakugo closed her door. He walked over to her bed and sat next to her. A beat of silence passed between them before he placed is head on her shoulder. "Why the fuck do I have to have the complicated love life.?" he asked. "I need more info." Mina said turning off her phone. Bakugo looked up at her and took a deep breath. "I had a dream where GreenBlade was someone I knew. If that's true what do I do?" "Well, if that were the case, which I'm assuming it has. Do you like the person who is GreenBlade?" Bakugo visibly tensed up at Mina's assumption. He tried to play it cool, "I don't fucking know. I want that to be clear." Mina faced Bakugo toward herself. "Tell me exactly what you dreamt." Bakugo took a deep breath. "We were walking back from class and GreenFlame was standing there. When one of us called out he smiled and pulled off his hood. He pointed to me and said 'Bakugo knows who I am but the rest of you don't. One day you will though.' He vanished and the rest of the dream was me chasing him but he would vanish right before I caught him."

"Did you happen to catch a glimpse of his hair or eyes? We could figure out who you thought of-" Mina was interrupted when Bakugo answered. "No, he was wearing a cap and it was like his eyes were missing." Bakugo was lying in fact. That dream clearly showed Midoriya but he made a promise. A promise he intended to keep.

"Why did I have to fall for you this hard?" he asked himself as he chuckled. He grabbed his phone once more and dialed up his mom. As it was ringing he walked over to the overhead cabinet that rest above his desk. He opened it and looked at the photo of him and Midoriya that he has hid in there since the start of the school year. Once his mom picked up he closed the cabinet door and putt all his attention into what he was about to ask.

"Hey mom-"
