chapter four, revenge

You were walking home, you and Lev took FOREVER to clean the gymnasium. It was already late at night.

"Mom gonna kill me" You groaned. You were walking up a hill. Either way, you're going to be late... Might as well take your time. You looked around the bushes and tree around the hill. They created dark shadows. It was one of your biggest fears,

The dark.

So, you looked away. You tried to calm yourself. C'mn Y/n it's just the dark.. Don't be a baby. You jumped when you heard twigs being snapped.

"H-hello?" You asked. A stray cat came out of the bushes. You sighed in relief. "Oh thank god.. It's just a stray" You said. You bent down. "C'mon here kitty" You sang. The stray slowly walked up to your hand. You slowly pet its head. "What are you doing here in the bushes? Huh?" You asked. The cat glared at you and began to hiss. You were about to back away but the stupid stray already scratched you. "FUCK" you hissed. You looked at your hand and held it.

"Dumb cat," You said, you looked up and the cat ran into the bush. You scoffed.

"Don't trust cats, I guess" You sighed.

You got home and your mother instantly scolded you.

"I TEXTED YOU FIVE TIMES" Your mother yelled.

"My phone died... Sorry mom" You said.

Your mom rolled your eyes, "gee's be more careful next time. you're my only daughter.. You know" your mom said. You sighed, "yes ma'am," you said. Your mom pinched your cheeks. "Now go get washed up for dinner."Your mom said, before letting you go.

You ran upstairs to the bathroom. You instantly wash your scratch. "Eh- this will fade in a couple of days.." You said. You did bandage it because your overprotective mother would freak out if you didn't.

Even though your mother was severely overprotective, she did love you. That's why she transferred you to Nekoma... even though you begged her not to. In her words,

"I'm sorry Y/n. I know you loved Karasuno but just think about the possibilities Nekoma has!"

You couldn't stay mad at your mom... after all, you were her only daughter.

You ran downstairs after cleaning up.

You sat at the dinner table with your mother. She cooked Zucchini Ravioli with grilled chicken.

"Mom this is a lot of food for just us."You said. Your mother laughed. "Oh, that's why we're having guests tonight" Your mother laughed. "Who?" you asked. "An old friend," your mother said.

DING DONG

You ran to the door. "HINATA!!!" You cried. Hinata grinned, "Y/N!" Hinata cheered. You gave him a hug. His arms felt like home. "I missed you, Shoyo" you sighed. "I missed you more!" Hinata cried. Your mother rolled her eyes, watching you two. "Ok hurry up and come back to the table, you two," she said. You left Hinata's arms. "Yes Ma'am" you groaned. Hinata laughed.

During dinner, you and Hinata talked about what happened during your separation.

"Kenma and Kuroo are really nice to me!"

"TANAKA GOT HIS HAND STUCK IN A PEANUT JAR

"YOU TWO DONT FORGET TO CHEW" Your mom yelled.

Hinata almost choked and hit his chest. "Ye-YES MA'AM," he said. You laughed.

After dinner, your mom looked out the window. "Hinata sweetie, it's late to go home. Do you want me to set up the couch?"Your mom said. Hinata nodded. "That would be good!"Hinata said. When everyone returned to their bedrooms, you sneaked down to the couch in the middle of the night to talk to Hinata. "Psssh, Shoyo wake up, " you said. You shook his body. "GAH- I'm upppp" Hinata groaned. You laughed. Hinata rubbed his eyes and sat up. "What's up," He asked.

"Shoyo, I kinda miss Karasuno," You said. Hinata titled his head. "But at dinner, you said you made friends? "He asked. You sighed. "I know but Nekoma doesn't feel like home." You said. "Y/n... I have a confession too" He said. "What is it?" you asked. Hinata looked up at you.

"The whole team misses you a whole lot! I wasn't supposed to tell you this because they didn't want to make you feel bad... But everyone misses you! EVEN TSUKKI MISSES YOU" Hinata cried. You bit your lip. "Re-really?" You asked. Hinata eagerly nodded. You stood up, "THAT'S IT IM GOING TO TELL MY MOM TO TRANS-" You heard an aggressive knock on the door... Hinata and you looked at each other. "Did you order food?" He asked. You shook your head. Hinata got up. You two stealthy walked to the door. "Get behind me, y/n" Hinata whispered. You followed his command. He opened the door, slowly. Both of you stumbled at the sight. There at the door was a dead stray, the same stray that scratched you. "HOLY SHIT" Hinata gagged. "MOOMM" You cried. Both of you ran upstairs to get your mother. "WHAT- WHAT HAPPENED" Your mother yelled. "COME DOWNSTAIRS- CAT- DEAD' You cried. You drag your mother to the door. "I don't see anything," she said. You looked at the doorstep. "Where is it-" you asked. Hinata looked at you. "We-we must have just seen a sleeping raccoon then...?" he asked. Your mother groaned. "Go to sleep kiddos," she said. You stuttered. Where did the cat go? You're just tired y/n... let's go to bed. "Yes ma'am," You said.
