chapter eleven, guardian angel

You took some time to think. You could ask for anything.

"I want a day by myself," you said, softly. Kuroo bit his lips. "But I'll miss you," he whimpered. "I-I'll miss you too but I need some time to myself." you laughed. Kenma sighed and looked at you. "Guess, we can live one day without you"

Your real plan was to travel to Hinata's house and tell him everything.

The next day, you woke up at dawn and took the train to Miyagi prefecture. You then had to take two buses to Hinata's house. You knocked on his window. Hinata rubbed his eyes as he opened the window. "Y-Y/n?" he gasped. "Hinata... I'm in trouble" you whimpered.

Hinata let you inside. He poured you a cup of coffee. You tried your best to explain to him without crying. Hinata banged his fist on the wall. "W-why would Kenma do that!" Hinata cried. You shrugged, "I-i don't know" you whimpered. Hinata touched your cheek and wiped away your tears. "Don't worry, Y/n.. I'll protect you" he said. "How? They have pictures of me" you cried. "I'll- I'll go to Kenma's house and find his phone. " Hinata said. You looked up at Hinata. "You would do that for me?" you asked. Hinata nodded, eagerly. "I love you more than anything. I won't let anyone hurt you, okay?" he said. You smiled and hugged Hinata's chest.

For the first time in a while, you felt safe. Hinata tried to distract you from your worries by inviting Karasuno's team to take you around town.

You felt happier to see your closest friends again. Tanaka sneaked behind you and jumped holding onto your shoulders. "Y/n!" he sang. You flinched, thinking it was Kuroo. Daichi definitely noticed that you flinched.

"Y/n, how has everything been?" Daichi asked.

"G-good" you smiled. Hinata averted his eyes from you. Daichi hummed but he was unsatisfied with your response. "Let's get some meat buns!" Noya shouted. "Didn't you eat like ten of them this week?" Ennoshita asked. "So?" Noya said, turning his head to him. "Noya, how are you not worried about your health?" Suga sighed. "I need protein for my muscles," Noya smiled. "What muscles?" Tsukishima scoffed. Noya growled at Tsukishima.

"How about we just go to the movies. I-I mean we don't have to- only if you want to" Kinoshita asked. "The movies? Sounds good!" Daichi said. Kinoshita sighed in relief. 

Daichi offered to buy tickets for everyone but Ennoshita denied it. "I refuse to let you buy everyone's tickets, Daichi," Ennoshita said. "But I want to," Daichi smiled. "That's a lot of money, Daichi" Ennoshita scoffed. "Just let me buy the tickets, Ennoshita," Daichi growled. "No, I won't" Ennoshita growled.

" I purchased the tickets," Kiyoko said. Ennoshita and Daichi snapped their head at Kiyoko. "Shimizu Senpai! You didn't have to do that" Ennoshita groaned. "It was no worries, let's just watch the movie," Kiyoko smiled.

The movie was great..but you sat between Tanaka and Noya who kept whispering to each other.

"Pssssh Tanaka, I'm hungry"

"Don't worry, I gotcha."

Tanaka threw popcorn that got into your hair.

"TANAKA" you snapped.

"S-sorry but can you pass this to Noya"

You rolled your eyes and took the popcorn from Tanaka and handed it to Noya.

"Thanksss Y/n," Noya said, awkwardly. 

After the movies, Suga was yelling at Tanaka and Noya for being too loud. Hinata pulled on your sleeve. "I need to tell you something "Hinata whispered.
