Draco was getting insanely worried about his boyfriend. He hadn't seen him in five days and was concerned that he was hurt. But also was getting confused at his mind constantly screaming at him that something was wrong and he still couldn't figure out why.
He considered asking Hermionie where Harry was, because she knew him extremely well. Although, he hadn't seen Harry with Hermionie for weeks. he hadn't seen Harry with anyone for weeks except for himself.
Thinking about it, he hadn't actually seen Harry eat or drink either.
Draco decided he should go ask Hermionie where his boyfriend was, and thankfully, he found her in the common room. He approached her, and she turned her head in shock.
"Uh, hi." Draco greeted, sitting down on the couch, pretty far from her.
"Malfoy? What do you want?"
"I was wondering if you know where Harry was?"
"Sorry what?" She looked shocked.
"Oh. He didn't tell you?" Draco sighed. "He and I have been dating for a few weeks now."
"T-Thats impossible."
"I know it seems weird, I mean we have hated each other for years but-"
"No. It's literally impossible Draco."
He looked over to see her face, now covered in tears. He furrowed his brows in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"Draco..."
She was cut off my someone behind them. "Draco!"
Draco turned to see his boyfriend standing behind him. "Harry? Where have you been?"
"Nowhere. Everywhere."
Draco smiled then looked at Hermionie, who's face looked ghostly pale and stunned. "Granger? Whats wrong."
She opened her mouth to speak, but closed it when Draco looked back and forth between Harry and her.
"Did you two fight or something?" Draco asked.
"Draco. Look at me." Hermionie said.
Draco did as she said, and she put a hand on his shoulder. He saw the horrified look on her face.
"Draco, Harry isn't here."
"Yes he is. He's right there." Draco pointed to his left behind the couch where Harry stood.
"No he's not. Harry died months ago, Draco."
Draco froze. Harry wasn't dead, he was right next to him. He opened his mouth to say something but Hermionie intercepted him.
"Before you say he isn't, he really is." More tears flowed down her face as she pulled a piece of paper from her pocket. "I have his death certificate."
Draco reached out and snatched the piece of paper from her hands. His hand began to shake as he read that his beloved boyfriend was in fact, dead.
"H-How? Wha- B-but we love e-each other." Draco stuttered, standing up. "H-Harry?"
Draco looked as his boyfriend, praying that Hermionie was wrong. Harry just smiled at him and grabbed his hands. Draco yanked his hands out of Harrys and ran out of the room.
Harry wasn't dead. He couldn't be dead. If he was dead, who had Draco been dating? Draco wasn't insane. He just wasn't. If he had imagined an entire relationship with someone, that meant he was insane and he wasn't insane.
