The day was nice and beautiful. The sun was barely peeking over the horizon as Nile woke from her slumber and yawned. She stood and walked over to the mirror and sighed before putting on the one thing that kept her looking out of place: her eyepatch. She was born blind in one eye and the reason she covers it is because the eye on that side is a very deep red color while the other is a brilliant blue. With a small sigh, she began to draw her brush through her hair so as to get the knots out of the already unmanageable strings. When she had finished, she stood and grabbed her clothes before heading to the restroom and closing the door and beginning to take her clothes off. She then stepped into the shower, her clothes were resting on the edge of the sink so that way she wouldn't get them wet as she stepped out. With a small and light smile playing across her lips, she began to wash across her dark skin as she hummed an old Egyptian tune since she had grown up there until she was about nine. When she had finished with her morning routine, she grabbed her clothes and put on a pair of baggy jeans and a short sleeve shirt before going downstairs and waving goodbye to her family, unaware that it was going to be the last time she ever spoke to them.

Nile had gotten a call to head to her house due to an emergency. Immediately, she shoved her phone in her pocket and bolted to her house to only see it engulfed in flames. She was frozen to the spot. How could this have happened to someone as rich as her? She was the heir to the famous Szuh Technology Company. She then broke down into tears as she ran to the burning building but was soon pulled back by a firefighter and told that she was to go with the social worker to the orphanage since she wasn't old enough to run the company yet. She obliged and walked over to the social worker and climbed in her vehicle. To this day, Nile can't stand the sight of a Volkswagen Beetle because it reminded her so much of her parents death and the loss of everything stable in her life.

They arrived at the orphanage soon afterwards and looked up at the two adults as they exchanged words about her going to boarding school since she was more than capable of playing for it. Nile tried to protest but was silenced rather quickly. With s small huff, she stood there with the adults as she looked around the place she was supposed to call home with a look of disgust on her face since it seemed so unsanitary that it wouldn't surprise her if everyone here was sick in some way.

When the social worker left, the owner of the orphanage had taken Nile to her room and told her that was where she was to stay until Monday since that was when she was to head to Suho Boarding School to live for until she was eighteen or her education was completed.

A/N: I hope you guys liked the past of Nile. And no, this is not going to be cliche, I just had to have a horrid past for Nile to explain her behavior later on towards certain things.
