Kyoutani PoV (finally again)

''Kyouken?", I heard Akari's teasing voice trough my phone.

(an: they exchanged numbers if it wasn't clear)

''You always want something when you use this nickname so spit it out, but when you're going to ask if Aoi can join us, the answer is no."

She snickered before she answered: ''Wrooong. I'm not that addicted to Aoi that she always has to be with me."

''I'm not gonna say something about that."

Akari laughed again: ''Meanie, but yes I wanted to ask if someone could join us. It would be my cousin, it's not like she doesn't have friends, but I don't like her friends. So I invited her to come with us!"

''Is she sane? And no if you answer sane as me she can't join us."

I mean sure it would be nice to meet new people, but another Akira I probably wouldn't survive it.

''I know exactly what you think right now: 'Another Akari, oh hell no!' And before you can say anything yes, I'm a mindreader and also yes, you can invite Yahaba."

How the hell did she know this.

''Stupid, I already said that I'm a mindreader", I got as answer to my thoughs.

''If you're a mindreader I would be bad at cooking."

''Why doesn't anyone believe me when I tell them that I'm a mindreader?", they fake whined.

''Okay fine, you're a mindreader. Happy now. And fine invite who you want I don't care!"

''Is that because you're precious Yahaba is here with you?", I probably could see their teasing smirk, while she said it.

(an: I'm sorry if it's confusing with Akari's pronouns but since she go by she/they I want to use both because to be honest it really sucks if people just use one of them the most)

''Could you just shut up?"

''Where is the please?"

''You don't deserve one:"

''By the way since you said I could invite anyone, Aoi will join us of course."

''Bit-"

''Aww Kyou, I am offened. You wanted to lie. It's obvious that you're the bitchy friend!"

And with that they ended the call, stupid girls! Why am I so good friends with girls again?

°Timeskip to the time they all hang out, brought to you by nothing°

''And why did you invite me again?", Yahaba tried to sound teasing but somehow it sounded more nervous. ''Because I don't want to spend the day with them alone", I simply responded. ''And you think I'll buy this after you said how much you liked my company!"

It was normal that Yahaba would say sentences like that, but when I looked more onto his face expression he hadn't this selfconfident look. More a cute and nervous one. Did something happened? Maybe he's uncomfortable with me after I said stuff like this...

Well done Kentarou, just because you were honest your best friend is now uncomfortable around you. Maybe it's because I'm also gay and now he thinks I like him or something. But I mean it would be the truth, just now I can be 100% sure he would reject me.

So now there was this weird tension between us. Yahaba all stiff and I confused what could be wrong with him. Maybe it's good that there are three other people...

''HEY GUYS", we were already greeted by Akari when we entered the café. Aoi besides her nodded in our direction with a big grin on her face while holding Akari's hand. Behind them a girl with brown shoulder long hair and goldenbrown eyes.

''Who is that pretty girl?", Yahaba asked curious, while I just glared at him.

''Akari's cousin.."

''And what about a name?"

''Come on guys and get your lazy asses here!"

I just rolled my eyes at her.

While Yahaba shouted back: ''We are volleyball players, I think you're the lazy ass!"

''Excuse me, I'm on the girls swim team. Who's the lazy ass now?!"

And then Aoi stepped in: '' Could you just shut up?! People are already looking, show a bit more respect:"

And Aoi was right, to be honest she's always right. But still it was embarrassing...

So after we sat down on our table, our because we always sit there to hang out, we started to introduce us to each other.

''So me and my beautiful, intelligent, nice, kind, hot, sexy and dirty minded girlfriend you already know", Akari started.

''I'm not dirty-", Aoi tried to defend herself while Akari just cut her off: ''Don't even try to deny it, I know what stories you read on wattpad." Aoi just hide her red face while Akari just chuckled: ''Awww, don't hide your face honey, you look cute when you're embarrassed.'' ''I literally hate you, Akari!"

''Aww, nice try, but that's not what you said yesterday."

And then the new girl stepped in: ''Okay stop right ther, I don't need to know about the sexual activities of my cousin.''

''That's not what I meant, but look Aoi now you know you're not alone."

Now Aoi wasn't the only embarrassed.

''By the way, what are your names?", the girl asked.

''I was waiting for this one! I'm Yahaba Shigeru and-"

''You're Yahaba I'm Sakura and let me guess the person next to you is Kyoutani."

''How do you know my name?", I asked her.

''Oh simple, I'm the person on the other end of Yahabas airpots and he talks about you all the time and last time he even said- Ohh wait I'm not supposed to say that", she explained laughing. And while she said this, I felt a little warm in my chest. Maybe my feelings aren't that unrequited. Because when I looked at Yahaba I saw his red face.
