While Dabi was gone, you took a look around the filthy place. You planned on cleaning this place up to make it look way much better. Get rid of all the drugs, needles included. And all the trash.
So, you did just that. Opening up a window, you decided to just throw it all to the ground, and later on, if you really wanted to, take it to the trash. Dabi shouldn't be too long, considering that there was a store not too far from here.
Picking up the trash, you began to toss it out the window when you heard something behind you making you freeze. "You've got to be kidding me," you sigh, glancing back at the men who just walked inside.
When you turned around fully, you stared at them, taking a step back. "Saw your boyfriend leave," one of them said with a smile on his face. You couldn't help but wonder how stupid you were. You literally just even asked Dabi what if they came back.
You could try to use your quirk, but you don't even know how you used it last time. All you knew is that whatever it was, was released at your palm. "He could be back any second," you say, taking another step back.
The window was still open and you could jump, but there was no way you'd survive that jump. Surely, Dabi would be here soon. But you realized you couldn't always depend on him to save you. "Your boyfriend was going to kill us," another one of the men spoke up, there was four of them.
"I'm sorry about that," you gulped. "but we're only kids, we needed a place to stay."
The man in front clicked his tongue. "Nobody cares about that," he replied. After all this time, were you really about to be killed by these men? Hopefully, you could stall until Dabi had gotten back. "Stay back," you held your hand out, trying to look intimidating.
They weren't phased at all. "Y/n!" you heard Dabi's voice. The men looked around before noticing Dabi standing in the hallway. Now, they seemed frightened. "what do you think you're doing?"
You watched as they began to tremble and the hallways began to have a blue tint to it. "I suggest you start running now," Dabi said and they all began to run. You took a step forward, noticing how Dabi began to follow after them.
Soon enough, you heard loud cries for help before the sound had finally died down. He must've killed them. You sigh and start cleaning again, throwing things out the window as you did so.
There was a photo that laid covered underneath a few things, kicking them away and picking the photo up. It was a photo of a small family that consisted of a woman and a man, with two children. You wished you had that again.
You felt your heart began to ache, closing your eyes and dropping the photo on the ground. There was nothing left of your home, or so you knew of. You didn't dare go back to that place. "You okay?" jumping slightly, you turned to see Dabi standing at the entryway.
"Yeah, I just..." you trailed off, looking back down at the photo before kicking it to the side. "miss having a family."
Dabi nodded, walking in and closing the door. "They're a little shaken up, but still drinkable," he says, walking over and setting them down with the snacks. "That's fine with me," walking over, you picked up the water bottle and opened it up, chugging it. "Slow down,"
"Just very..." you let out a relieved breath. "thirsty."
"I see that," he says, grabbing his own bottle and chugging it as well. "Hey, slow down," you joke and he managed to smile.
You both sat down and you picked at the things in front of you. "I'm going to clean this place up, make it look better than this," Dabi brought his legs up to his chest. "It's okay like this," he said.
"Really? It looks like shit," you tell him. "regardless, I'm going to fix it up." Dabi lifted a brow at you. "Okay, you do you," you nod.
The night neared but after eating a bit, you did the best you could to clean up. You managed to get most of it, you'd need to steal supplies to do anything major. Dabi helped you as well, which made it go quicker.
"I'll take the floor and you can have the bed," he said while stretching, his shirt lifting slightly. "I'd rather you sleep with me..." Dabi looked at you confused. "I told you last time you were warm."
He stared at you before nodding. "Yeah, of course," both of you headed over to the bed and you laid with your backs facing each other. "I bet this damn thing has bed bugs," you mumble. He laughed softly. "not funny. When I wake up and I got bites all over my ass, I'm not going to be so happy."
Dabi smiled and you two laid in silence for a bit before you turned, wrapping your arm around him. "Will you be my family?" you asked suddenly. He was taken aback by this question, it took him a second to respond. "Yeah," he answered and your eyes closed, finding satisfaction in his response.
