"Don't you feel at least a bit bad about this?" Twice asked Toga as they all sat in the main room after Dabi and you had left.
Shigaraki stood from his stool. "Shut up, will you? We needed the supplies," he replied.
"They were nice though," Toga smiles, swinging her feet as she sat down. A man had come to Shigaraki, saying he had recognized you. He said he had some unfinished business with you, that you and Dabi had killed some people close to him.
The man Dabi burned in the alleyway the day you two met, and a few others throughout the years. They had done the math to know it was you. They were really determined to find the two of you.
Shigaraki at first denied but when they mentioned how much The League would get for turning them in, he finally agreed.
And here you were, standing with your hands up in the air as guns were pointed at you. This whole thing was set up.
"Should we run?" you mumbled to Dabi as someone began to approach you. "You'll die," he replied.
He wasn't going to think about himself, but he didn't have enough time to think of a way to get you out of this mess. "So..." the man stopped, cigar hanging in his mouth. "you must be Y/n."
You stared at him, not knowing to answer honestly or not. There was really no point in lying, considering he already appeared to know. "What about it?"
"You killed someone very important to me," he says as he leans closer, Dabi gets aggravated, and he wants to step forward, but the man spoke up. "if you move, she dies right here in front of you."
Dabi stares at you. "We've been trying to catch up to you two for so long...now look at you," he smirked, his hands raising and he shrugged casually. "you're gonna pay for what you did."
"I don't even know who the fuck you are," you spat and the man lifted a brow. "The alleyway, remember? You killed someone and you had no idea that we have cameras up all around this town," he laughs.
Another laugh erupted from behind him and you look over, seeing as another person began to walk forward, his hat covering his face. Your eyes widened slightly when his head finally rose, and he glanced at you. "Remember me?" Nakamura smiled happily, spinning with excitement as he neared.
"They brought me back from the dead, surprise!" he takes hold of you, Dabi trying to step forward. There was nothing he could do. He knew there was only one thing to do, to protect you, but you'd just both die in the end. "Y/n," he says but stops himself, eyes widening when the man punches you.
It took everything inside Dabi not to rage at that moment. Suddenly a body fell from a tall building nearby and splattered onto the concrete, you looking over and seeing the remains of the body.
"Run while you can, Y/n!" the man was shot in the head, blood splattering onto your face. Nakamura got startled and you looked up on top of the building. Dabi's hands lit up with his flames and he burned the others nearby, hearing their screams. You stared up at her. "Mom?" you ask quietly to yourself and Dabi turns, eyes squinting as he looks up, seeing the older woman standing there.
Someone ran up to her and you could barely see, considering how high up she was. She killed him instantly. You hadn't seen in her since she left you on your own, but you couldn't find the anger inside you. Realizing what you've done after all this time, what reason could you possibly have to still hold that grudge against her.
You didn't know exactly how to feel, honestly. "You need to run, Y/n! I'm dropping..." her voice echoed at first but suddenly yells came from all around you, you were no longer able to hear her.
But she didn't know you didn't.
"Now's our chance, let's go," he says, pulling on your arm. "What?" you ask, turning to him and he looks at the burnt bodies nearby. "This went sideways for them, let's go, we can't stay here any longer,"
You look up once more before everything went silent. A light flash as it dropped to the ground and you turned to Dabi. His eyes widened and he took a step closer to you. "Dabi!" a gust of wind pushed the two of you apart and as your body flowed in the air, your eyes remained on Dabi's figure.
The wind was too strong to fight against it, and then the loud sound from the explosion rang in your ears, your hands instantly moving to cover them up.
Your back hit the wall hard and you nearly fainted, coughing up blood as fell and landed on your stomach. Nakamura saw your body sitting there. He had been hiding behind a wall near you, to block the pressure from the wind. With a smirk on his face, he walked up to your limp body, and before you had time to react, he kicked you in the face.
