18- It's time to get some answers

Manik's P.O.V.

"Seriously Manik, you again did this.. what's the excuse this time? Or you just wanted to have some fun, I can't believe you killed another person.." Abhay snarled at me and I just scoffed.. I can't believe this idiot here is my real brother.. Nandani ran out from here, the moment she got a news about another death.. She was scared but she was more worried for her friend so she left for her hostel to comfort her..

"You seriously have to be so dumb Abhay, I mean literally so very dumb you are.." I rolled my eyes and start walking outside when he stopped me.. What? now he wants to have a fight with me so that he can loose, when he clearly knows how weak he is.. Seriously a dumb move.. "You are not getting out of here, without explaining things to me Manik.. Who did you killed now?"

Now he is just annoying the hell out of me.. "Seriously you always find a way to blame all this on me, don't you? Don't you know I was here the whole time? so when did I get the time to Kill that human?" His eyes hold no amount of trust for me and I felt disappointed... I know I am no saint but I never hid my monster side.. I always admit when I am the one to be held responsible for anyone's death.. But this time it wasn't me..

"You are lying, when Nandani came here you weren't in the house.. I would have known but no there was no one apart from her and I.." I seriously want to punch him hard in the face and break his all teeth.. But then he would look ugly and his girl would dump him and again he will find a reason to blame me... So no Manik abort breaking teeth of Abhay mission.. "I was here when you were preparing the date for your girlfriend and then I went to library to keep an eye on Sia.. You can ask her, she saw me stalking her.."

I stated simply and this time he did seem like believing me almost.. "So if you were not the one, then who it can be?" Yeah that is some intelligent question he has asked.. I thought we were only Vampires in this town? but if it's not any one of us then who it may be? "Maybe this time it was a real animal attack.. You know animals in that forest must be angry of false accusation so they thought why not to prove everyone right.." I smirked and Abhay rolled his eyes.. His sense of humor is nill... I don't know what Nandani see in him..

"This is not the time to joke Manik, we have to find out who the murderer is? Or it's even a Vampire attack or someone else is behind this.. You know it was a full moon night yesterday.." And the gear in my head turned up.. Shit Abhay told us before also that he has sensed their presence in here.. But I didn't paid heed to that.. Is it possible that he was right? Maybe they are back too and maybe it's there working..

"Go back to your room Baby Brother and be down for dinner.. We had a family meeting to attend.." I went back to my room leaving worried Abhay behind.. I am not afraid of them, hell they are just not even close to some scary creature.. But whenever we have crossed path with them, something awfully bad has happened for all.. And I don't want the history to repeat itself again and again..

"Oh Holy Jesus, are you okay Naya?" I asked hugging my best friend the moment she enetered inside our room all disheveled.. It must have been a very scary sight for her.. "Oh God Nan, it was so scary, I can't even get that image out of my head.. I feel like puking every ten seconds.." I can understand what she is going through.. I myself have experienced that.. "I am sorry babe, you have to see that.."

I hugged her that she returned warmly.. "I am sorry too, you have seen two bodies in span of a week and now it's third.. What's going on Nandani? Are we in trouble?" I don't know babe I simply don't know.. I have no damn idea what's going on in this stupid place.. But I have to find out anyhow. I have to keep all my dear one's save.. I can't loose them or myself... "Just take a Nap Naya, you will feel better.. Don't think about this too much okay.." I made her lie down and soon she fell into a deep slumber.. Covering her with a comforter.. I slowly came out and locked the door.. I need some fresh air to clear my mind...

I came outside the hostel and started walking into college.. I don't know where I was going.. My thoughts were all so jumbled and messy that I hardly have any idea how to fix things or probably how to find things.. All of this is so strange and so doubtful.. I mean okay one animal attack, I can understand.. But the count is only increasing.. And that is freaking dangerous and unbelievable.. Why do my heart says there is a huge story behind all this and I have to find out in order to keep everyone safe..

I was about to turn away from the library gates when I saw Shaurya  Sir entering inside.. And I knew today I am going to get all my answers.. He has to answer all my questions and I am not letting him off the hook now... So many people are dying and if he knows something it's his responsibility to share the information and save people with the help of other's.. Why is he so scared and the most important question from whom he is this scared that don't even want to talk about it.. Come on Nandani, it's time to get some answers..
