24- Nandani promise

"Shaurya Sir.." I called him from behind making him stop in his tracks.. He didn't say anything and just asked me to follow him.. We went inside his classroom and settle down.. I don't know what to tell him anymore and I guess he is facing the same problem.. We sat there quietly for some time when I couldn't take it anymore.. "I read that book.." And he just nodded his head at that.. "I believe each and everything that was in there.."

And that made him look at me a bit shocked.. I guess he wasn't sure, I would ever trust on this.. But guess what I did.. My ex boyfriend and his whole family are Vampires. What more prove I need to believe on this.. Since Abhay told me they are the original Vampires, I figured out Blood Lust has been written on them only.. "Wow, I never thought you would.." Yeah I thought so too.. I just gave him a sad smile that he didn't return..

"Shaurya Sir, have you told any of this to anyone else too?" I asked a bit worried, I hope he hasn't said anything to Samantha, cause if she get to know this, he is a dead meat for sure.. "No I haven't, you are the only one and honestly you just forced it out of me.. I wouldn't have told you this otherwise.." And I laughed at that, he is right.. I really forced him to tell me everything.. I wish I wouldn't have. Then Maybe Abhay and I would be together then.. A sigh escaped my lips.. Don't think about him anymore Nandani.. That relation is over..

"Good, Now make sure you never say a word about this to anyone.. We are surrounded by Monsters, and nobody in this college or even this town is trustworthy.. So just keep this information to yourself and stay out of trouble and I will do the same.." He nodded at that and soon I came out of that room.. I am sorry Sir, but I can't tell you anything more.. I just hope you don't make the same mistake I did, by trusting Samantha blindly...

"Watch where you going.." I bumped hard into him hearing him growl. Manik Malhotra, why can't god keep me out of his ways. The moment his eyes fell on me, the anger in them vanished and those beautiful eyes turned blank. It's so weird to see him after knowing such a big truth about him. And it's confusing to not feel scared but secure in his company.

"Hey Manik.." before I could say anything, one girl cam running to him with the same bandage I have seen on many other's on the neck. "Hey Smarty, wanna go to my room?" I cringed at her seduction level, She has no idea what she has gotten herself into did she? "Not now.." He said looking into her eyes and I know that moment he was mind controlling her. She left without another word. Manik threw a longing glance at me and started moving out but I got a hold of his hand startling both him and I.

"Don't do all this Manik, please don't kill them.. They are innocent human being, just like you were, your grandma were before all this happened. Please don't Manik.." I had tears in my eyes and first time I saw him so restless. I should hate him right now but don't know why I feel sympathy for him. He didn't chose this life neither did Abhay. But now being the Monster he is now not doing any good.

"Manik Please promise me you won't hurt anynone?" I forward my hand in front of him with a hope and soon he placed his palm on mine. "Nandani promise.." And at that moment that boy made me smile genuinely for the very first time. He came closer placing a strand of hair behind my ear making me shiver at his touch. He really is handsome looking up from this close. "Stay away from Abhay and I kitten and stay away from all of this. I want you safe, I want you alive.." And I nodded my head at that. I can't promise to stay away from Malhotra's but I can promise to stay alive, I can't die and I have to live in order to ensure the safety of my near and dear ones. I promise Manik, I will not die. I know he was trying to read my mind but because of Abhay's necklace he couldn't and I am glad of that.. Thank you Abhay, I wish there could be more to our story, I wish we could have met in normal circumstances. Only if we could turn back the time.. My eyes fell on Abhay who was standing with Sia far away from me. It's too hard to face him every day,too damn hard to breathe in same room as him without exchanging even a look with each other..
