25 - Find a way to survive Malhotra

Abhay's P.O.V

"Abhay I am calling you from so long, where are you lost?" Sia shake my shoulder and I came back to earth.. God Abhay what is wrong with you.. "I am sorry what were you saying?" I asked her smiling and she just raised her eyebrows at me making my smile halter. I cannot keep a secret with her, she just knows me too well..

"What's wrong Abhay, you know you can tell me everything right? I can see how disturb you are from past one week. Did you and Nandani had a fight? Tell me maybe I can fix it.." I kept my head on her lap and she caressed my hair lovingly sometimes she was more a mother to me then my real mother and she is just 19. I smiled at her antics.. "You can't fix anything this time Sister, not this time.."

"What's wrong Abhay tell me?" I sighed, I knew she isn't going to let go unless she knows everything and I think I need someone to vent it all out and get my chest a bit lighter. "Nandani broke up with me.." I said almost in a whisper but her hand in my hair stopped abruptly. "Why what happened?" She was shocked to say the least.

"She knew the truth Sia, she get to know I am a Monster and who would want to love a monster not any sane person right.. So she left.. God I feel so broken right now. I was so happy with her Sia.. Finally in centuries I was happy but look what happened. Everything finished.." I almost screamed and she just took me in a hug trying to calm me down.. Why did I fell for a Human, why the hell did I?

"She wasn't angry that I am a Monster she was angry that I hided all this from her.. Sia trust is very important and I broke her trust so I deserved all this.." My voice came out low but I saw a hurt and fear expression on her face too.. But I was too involved feeling my own pain to ask anything to her... I lost the only good thing in my life and I have no idea what to do anymore..

Nandani's P.O.V.

It's been a week since our breakup and I miss him so much sometimes. Abhay was just not a boyfriend but a good friend too. I hate to feel this empty and lost without him but I think that's for the best.. I am Human and it's better for us to stay away. Nature doesn't allow us to be together. So It's only better to stay away from him. But what to tell this heart who miss his presence so much.. I don't know what I had with Abhay was Love or not but I do miss his presence in my life.

The air outside was too cold in Shimla, when I started shivering, I decided to head inside but a figure slouched in a corner made me halt in my tracks. Who that can be? Dammit Nan way to seek trouble.. I looked at the distance from here to the hostel entrance, will I be able to make it if I ran now.. But before I could make a run for my life, The figure hissed in pain and I could recognize that voice anywhere.. I knew am stupid enough to not run inside the hostel but I ran towards him. He was in pain and I could sense it..

"Shit!! What happened?" I saw Manik lying there almost unconscious he looked so week right now. I immediately bent down and took his head in my hand.. "Manik are you okay? come on talk to me you idiot.." I almost screamed in his ear panicked.. Jesus please let him be okay, please let him be okay.. "Stop shouting in my ears kitten.." He said in such a low voice that If I wouldn't be so close to him, I would have missed it..

"Damn it Malhotra you scared the hell out of me.." I scolded him and he gave his famous smirk. Seriously he is just soo stupid. I want to smack his head but the thought that he is a Vampire and can finish me off and also that he wasn't his own self right now stopped me. There is something different about him he looked weak. "Manik are you okay?" I asked slowly.

"Why are you worried for me Kitten?" Yes I am you idiot, I want to shout on his face but can't inflate his already big ego. "I am hungry.." He said after few seconds and it took me a minute to realize that he hadn't been fed and maybe that's the reason of his weakness.. "Why? Did the blood supply at your place finished?" I asked jokingly and he gave me his half smile.. Even in this situation he looked handsome.

"I tried to drink animal blood but couldn't keep it in my systems.." And my mouth turned into O. He needs human blood and maybe that is why he came here to feed from one of his girl toy. I felt disappointed in him. "From how long you haven't fed yourself?" I asked picking him up and helping him in sitting.

"Since I promised you that I won't hurt anyone.." And my movements stopped immediately. does that mean he hasn't fed himself from so long oh God.. "Will you die if you don't feed?" I asked scared and he laughed humorlessly. "I am already dead kitten.." and the reality hit me. I can't believe I am sitting alone here with a hungry Vampire who can kill me to quench his thirst but I know he won't and I hate that I have started trusting him.

"Tell me Manik what will happen if you won't feed?" I asked again, I hate to see him like that. so week and so helpless.. "I will be week and will freeze one day.." And I felt like someone crushed my heart. God all this because I took one promise from him.. God! Nan what have you done. He needs to be feed but I can't let any random person's life in danger. I don't know what came over me when I took this decision but there was no going back. I forwarded my hand towards him, confusion riled up in his eyes. "Feed.." And his eyes grew wide.

"Are you crazy Kitten.. Just leave.." He was angry and I was surprised, he literally turn down such a good chance to get back on me.. "I am serious Manik, just take few drops so you could be strong again.." I insisted but he didn't budge..

"No way, I am not going to feed from you Nandani.. I can't.." He is so stub born Jesus.. "Manik please I can't see you like this and I can't let you hurt someone else too.. So please just drink up.." I tried again but his eyes showed anger now. "You can't let me hurt someone and I can't hurt you kitten, I am weak and extremely hungry what If I don't stop? I would kill you do you realize that?"

And a smile broke onto my lips, "I know you will never hurt me Manik, I trust you.." And his shocked eyes met mine, I again forwarded my arm in front of his lips and this time almost begged to him to take a sip. Suddenly his eyes turned darker and his veins popped out, he looked so scary that I just wanted to shout. I could see his fangs and in seconds they were on my skin, sucking out blood.. It was so painful, I almost felt dizzy. It feels like he was sucking life out of me and before I could lost consciousness he stopped. His face getting back to normal..

"Shit!! Kitten are you okay? Please tell me you are fine?" I haven't seen Manik so scared before, he was scared for me and a smile rose up to my lips. "Good to see you back Malhotra.." I almost said in a whisper making him breathe in life.

"Never ever do this to me again, never force me to feed on you kitten I am warning you never.." he took me in his arms and in second we were in my room. Where Shanaya was sleeping peacefully. He put me on bed and pull the comforter over my body. "I don't want you to hurt anyone but I can't see you week and helpless, Find a way Malhotra, find a way to survive.." And he smiled at me. "Nandani Promise I will.."
