She's so much better (part one)

Your Pov

As I was walking  through the deadheads to go and go and get more wood for the fire I felt a presence behind me. I turn around and see Thomas my boyfriend you see we had only been together for 4 months but It feels like a lifetime.

"Hey sorry I made you jump" Thomas said almost laughing. "It's fine what are you even doing out here you should be at the fire with the others" " I just wanted to see how my beautiful girlfriend was doing and making sure that Gally wasn't going to follow her ready to pounce on her whilst I wasn't here to save her ". You see Thomas and Gally are not friends for many reason 1 being that Gally got jealous of Thomas once and tried to Kiss me but Thomas was there to help me and that is why Thomas can get a bit overprotective at times.

" He won't come anywhere near me Thomas don't worry if he does Alby and Newt will deal with it, okay ? " "Fine but that doesn't mean I trust him" he says getting slightly angrier by the second. " It doesn't have to mean anything like that".

 We go further into the deadheads together collecting enough wood to last us the rest of the night as we make our way back we see Teresa she walks towards Thomas and tells him that she was looking all over for him, this made my jaw clench I walked ahead of Thomas leaving him to talk to Teresa.

Now don't get me wrong it is nice not being the only girl in this place but sometimes I wish I still were you see when Teresa came up in the box everybody knew that she had a thing for Thomas but he promised me that he would never cheat on me with her which I believed until now when he put his hand on her shoulder and started laughing with her.

He whispers something in her ear that makes her laugh that is when I was angry but I heard a voice behind me " You do need to realise that he would never cheat on you Y/N he loves you and always will" " But she is so much better than me I mean she has brown hair and she is tall and skinny and beautiful and well I am none of those things Newt and him doing stuff like that doesn't help me believe him" " I know it doesn't so talk to him about it he will understand"

Thomas POV

I see Teresa as me and Y/N come out of the woods she is walking towards us she walks over to me and says how she was looking everywhere for me I could tell that Y/N was getting angry so she walked away with the wood still in her hands Teresa then says about how Gally fell over today whilst I was in the maze which made us both laugh I then whispered into her ear " At least he didn't trip over a pebble in the maze" This was when I saw Newt talking to Y/N she looked really angry but was it with me ? It couldn't be right ? That is when I heard a click in front of my face " Are you listening to what I am saying Thomas" She then looks at Y/n understanding why I got distracted " Go talk to her I will probably go and find Chuck see how is is doing"  "Thank you  Teresa " "Anytime"

Your Pov 

I walked away from Newt and sat by the bonfire feeling the warm flames hoping they would calm me down from what I saw with Thomas " Hey Y/n I just wanted to know what was wrong earlier You looked really upset and angry, was it because of me did I do something" I glance behind me to see Thomas looking at me with interest "Yes Thomas you did do something you are literally always with Teresa whispering in her ear laughing with her looking at her like you love her whilst with me it is a short conversation before you walk off to be with her What did I do to make you stop loving me Thomas Because I really don't have a clue" I answer with the anger boiling inside of me until his lips met mine in warm and soft way I kissed back forgetting what I was angry about.

"Nothing made me stop loving you Y/n I will always love you and only you me and Teresa are just friends and she was helping me with something" he says his hands now in mine and his eyes glistening. " What was she helping you with ? " I answer my eyebrows furrowed " Something I want to try with you because I love you and want you to feel like I do so meet me at your room in 10 minutes yeah ?"

"As long as you don't try and kill me"

"Never"

 He got up and walked towards my room in the Homestead as I sat there my mind filled with confusion as to what could happen.
