[Diana's P.O.V : ]
I looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity in the serenade of the black, the stars are a choir; they are lights that sing in infinite patterns, mischievously squinting, say hello to me. Amid the wintry air, beneath the noble starry-black, silver-white moon shimmers as if created by love, glowing street lamps, moving grass, dancing trees, barking dogs and mysterious shadows is all I can see.
My house is a few blocks away from my classes. So, I walk to my home. Today the weather is different. I don't know why but I feel so. This wind, this weather, the moon, it just reminds me of my old springtime memories. The moon is always utterly soothing and captivating to me. I don't know why but I like it. Sometimes, I get up at midnight or around three in the morning. I do nothing but stare at the moon for about an hour or two. It's so calming and soothing that it brings peace to my mind. I know most people will think that it's weird or the person is mad but I don't care what others say. If you are doing something that makes you happy then it doesn't matter what others say. I think the moon is exactly what true beauty is.
As I was two blocks away from my house I heard a penetrating sound, I stood still in my position in fear. It took me a moment to realize what I just heard. I turn around to look for the source of the voice but it's silent as if nobody is there. I stood there for a minute. I thought it was my hallucination but as I was about to turn around and walk to my house, I heard that penetrating sound again. The voice is coming from the bushes, across the street. So, I walk to there but I gasped in shock at the sight in front of my eyes. Like, is it even possible? It reminds me of the horror movies we see on TV. My breath is caught in my lungs, coldness spreading in my veins, feels like my entire world has come to a stop as if time has frozen for me. I never thought I will ever watch this sight.
