“Bruno…we don’t have to be there until 7….” Ryan told his friend watching him start to pack.

“I want to hear Maggie’s speech.” He told Ryan.

“Oh…yeah. Right. Because you’re in love with her.” Ryan laughed.

“Whatever, dude. She just sounds like a cool girl.” Bruno answered.

“Okay.” Ryan rolled his eyes putting his things in his suitcase. “I’m just glad we get to go home for a bit. I am sick of hotels and shit.”

“Yeah. It is kind of a bummer. We have a few weeks before Europe.” Bruno answered.

“Come on, Brunz. Let’s go…you wanted to hear the girl’s speech so andale…” Dre told Bruno.

“Okay, okay…” he ran up next to Dre walking toward the backstage door. He heard Maggie’s laugh over everyone else knowing that he hadn’t missed her speech. “Wait right there…” he walked over tapping Maggie on the shoulder.

“Hi…” she smiled at him.

“Umm….I…” Bruno stopped. Holy shit. She’s way cuter than I remember yesterday. He subconsciously checked her out.

“Yes?” she laughed. “I know it’s not jeans like yesterday.”

“I just wanted to wish you good luck. That’s it.” He said.

“Now look who is embarrassing themselves.” Maggie laughed. “Now we’re tied.”

“Right.” He smirked feeling his face get warmer. “I’ll see you later, then…” he said.

“Not before the meet and greet.” She smirked.

“Right.” He answered seeing the line start to grow the room down the way from them. Well then. He thought to himself adjusting his hat again. “I’ll see you then.” He smiled.

“I’ll see you in a few minutes.” She smiled back at him.

“Quit staring.” Ryan smacked Bruno’s hat off his head.

“Shut up.” He said walking back toward where he would be taking pictures. He sat down on a chair tapping his feet thinking about what he was going to do when Maggie walked up to him.

He watched Maggie move closer to the front of the line holding onto a little boy’s hand. “This is Travis. He has ALM.” Maggie said to Bruno.

“I remember you Travis. You’re very lucky you get to hold Maggie’s hand.” Bruno smiled.

“You’re working on being up one.” Maggie laughed moving toward him as the camera man started to rush them a little. She felt Bruno’s hand move around her back pulling her a little closer to him. She smelled his sweet cologne and the little bit of sweat on his shirt. She smiled and then started to walk away grabbing Travis.

“Good luck, Maggie.” He said as they walked away.

“I could say the same to you, Mr. Mars.” She smiled back at him.
