Mekakucity Actors: Azami's story

There once was a young monster. She had lived alone, far from anything or anyone. She often wondered what she was or where she came from.

One day, she set off, her mind set on finding answers.

She wandered for days, weeks, and even months. She had found nothing and no one.

One day, she found the human realm. She explored and met her first human. When she talked to him, he froze. Turned to stone.

Another human came along, with a little girl. When the human and the monster made eye contact, the human turned to stone.

The little girl, terrified, ran back to the village she had come from. She screamed about how her daddy had been killed by a monster. When she caught someone's attention, he asked her what was wrong. She said she was walking with her father and a monster cane and turned him to stone.

The man gathered allies, and he, along with a brigade of fifty men, ran the monster out of town.

The monster fled to a nearby marsh and sat, alone for days.

Eventually,a man came alone. He sat with her and talked with her.

When night fell, he left. And the monster was alone again.

The next day, he returned. He sat with her and continued to talk to her.

When night fell, he left.

It went on like this for days. Eventually, he asked her if he could live with her.

She said no, but he returned every day and asked the same question.

After years of asking, the monster finally said yes. They built a cottage on the water with a small dock leading to it.

Soon enough, the monster had a child. She was a little girl.

When the monster learned the child would not live forever as she would, and that she had been born cursed with the same burden as her mother, the monster wished for a new world.

A serpent heard this wish and granted it to her.

The monster told her family about the new world and the three of them fled to it.
