《Chapter Twenty Three - Sonju and Mujika》

"Give up." The demon ordered, before the demon could capture Ray, a hooded figure jumped in and snatched Ray and Luna up, with Luna still being conscious, she placed Ray in front of her.

"LETS GO!" Luna signaled.

。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。

'wha-' "AFTER THEM!" The demon ordered, with the other three demons following behind the hooded figure. They took out some spheres and threw them onto the floor, creating a large fog of smoke that blinded the opposing demons.

"Nothing's here!" A demon said, with the smoke blurring their vision. "Where are they?!" another demon asked, with the other 2 looking around for the hooded figure and the other two kids. 

"How could you allow them to escape?" The leading demon asked, punching the tree beside them with their fist.

"It's because,,, we lost their scent because of that smoke." A demon excused. "Then use your eyes!" The demon ordered. "They couldn't have gone far, they must've left some footprints or tracks of some sort." The demon stated.

"If you are unable to locate them, then at least find the rest of the children." The demon ordered.

"81194 was most likely lying about their deaths. Some are surely bound to remain,  we need to salvage what we can for Tifari." The demon said.

"They're all the property of our plantation! We will track down and get back of what belongs to us!" The demon said determinedly.

'Where are we going, and in what direction?' Ray asked in his thoughts. 

'No, think, first of all, who exactly is this guy? And why did Luna trust them to carry us in the first place? Why did they save me and her.'

'The last of what I've heard was Luna saying something as well as yelling at the figure, I'm not sure what they were talking about though. What I can be sure though, is that this couldn't be.. Minerv..'

"GAH!" Ray shouted, he soon jerked up awake to find himself with a blanket, it was dark, but there was light, coming from the crystals and flowers nearby. 

'Where am I? In a cave? Why am I even in one??' Ray asked himself. 

"Oh, right, I remember, someone helped rescue me and Luna... But.." 

"Where even is Luna?"

He walked over to the light source nearby, which appeared to be some glowing flowers, it looked like the ones from the killing tree. 'A lamp? Seems like it I guess.' Ray guessed, picking up the handle of the flower lamp.

He looked around the cave and tried to find a way out, it seemed endless, with green light emitting from the nearby flowers and crystals. 

'It's quiet, is it really safe here? Seems like we've shaken off the demons for now, I have to get to B06-32 and find Emma as well as the rest of the kids.' Ray thought.

'Where the hell even is this place? Without the pen, I won't be able to know the coordinates here, the only thing I can do now is leave and go back to a know point..'

"WoaH!" Ray said as he almost tripped, he regained his balance and looked over to another spot in the cave, it was Emma.

'what the.. Emma?!" Ray said with shock. Without hesitation, he dashed over to Emma and started shaking her to wake her up. "Emma, Emma!!!" Ray called out, 'is she breathing? is she unconscious? Alive?' Ray questioned.
