When I woke up in the morning Cas wasn't there. I was actually pretty glad he left before my mom or dad came in to wake me up for school, because I'm sure they would've had a fit to see some kid they never knew in their daughters bed.

Anyway, today is Monday. Also known as "I wish it was Saturday day". Today was also the first day of 6th grade, which is yet another reason I wish it was Saturday.

I put on my white shirt with gray and gold owls on it, paired with a gray ruffly skirt that went just a few inches above my knees. I grabbed my back pack and slipped on my gray flats before I went downstairs. Hey, just because I'm a hunter doesn't mean I wear plaid ALL the time!

"Mom, do I HAVE to go to school? I mean, I'm pretty smart already! Why can't I just go on a hunt with dad? I bet he has some research I can do or maybe he needs some backup!" I said trying to get out of going to school ( which I did pretty much every day).

"Katie, no you are going to school if I have to drag you there myself. Now hurry up and eat breakfast before we leave." She replied, nudging me to my plate.

I hurried up and ate my bacon and eggs, and kissed my mom goodbye.

"I'm going to pick you up from school, ok? Dads going on a hunt and won't be back until late," she called as I ran out the door.

"Ok mom, bye! Love you!" I yelled.

As soon as I got in the car, dad started on the lecture he gives me every year I start school.

"Do you have your demon knife? The water bottle, filled with holy water? And you have your salt and-"

"Yes dad, I have everything, just like I always do," I said rolling my eyes.

"Ok, ok, I hear ya pipsqueak," he said using the nickname he gave me. "I've got a job I have to work ok?"

"Yeah dad, I know. Mom told me." I said as we pulled in to the school.

"Ok, then have fun at school, I love you and stay safe!" He said.

"You too dad," I said giving him a kiss. I opened the door and stepped out of the car. Here we go, I thought to myself.
